Ohh ok. Didn’t see that. Yeah if your strapped for cash at the moment , the 15-25$ Amazon ones work fine imo. Ph pen only. Just get some calibration solution for future use. :joint:
I’m not strapped for cash, is there a middle ground between the $15 and the $450 one that is reliable?

This is the one I found to be the best for the $. I’ve never bought one of the high-end ones so I cant speak on that. This one seems stable and has quick readings. Again,, calibrate :bigjoint:

Do you mix soil with water to use this? Or runoff?
how do you test your soil?
got it, calibratee

True... and every grow Is a bit different. I use cal mag because we’re in a sealed room running CO2 at 1400 ppm , and using high power quantum board leds. I do feed by Flora’s chart recommendation, and feed, feed, feed.. they can take more feed, light, and heat with CO2. Otherwise, yeah, you don’t need that much feed in a tent without CO2. They’ll burn up if you don’t plain water them ever other time or so.
Yeah i agree on being able to feed more by using CO2 but that a another level for me for now. I am planning on it later down the road tho. Seen people running 1.5gr+ per watt using HPS. First need to get used to the new COB setup soon and after that looking to use CO2 as well.

Use it after you mix you nutrients. Or if your just feeding plain water. I also use them for run-off
- I have a soil probe , but don’t trust nor use it..

Just gonna bounce in for a min here. Don’t buy from Amz.. they carry old software models. I had to return 2. Buy direct from Apera. Apera tech support can’t help you if you don’t buy from them.

People who tell you 5.5-6.0 is a good value don't know what they are talking about. There is a huge difference in using soil or other grow medium.
This Image shows you that 6.5-7.0 is the best value for absorbing nutes. I never ever go below 6.5 myself and never have any issues.

As you can see on the graph 6.5 is the best point for absorbing all nutes.
Ive been running filtered Tap with nutes and just started checking PH its ar 7-8 im in week 6 and Gorilla Glue is bending nice I can see nice Lollipops with no Probs althouh after reading this chart Im adjusting to 6.5-6.8.
We shall see.

Yeah 6.5-6.8 would be better.

Looking at your leaves it does look like your over watering a bit seeing the tips are hanging down as well.
