Ph + Ph - Help

Hi, I bought a product to raise and lower the pH (Advanced Hydroponics of Holland + -) however it doesn't seem to be working, the ph is always the same...I used it in the soil mixed with water (ph 6)

these are my answers:

can be used in soil?
can be used mixed only with water instead of water+nutrients?
which is the exact procedure to use this product, why is not working?

Have you calibrated ph pen prior to using it?
I dont like them personally, my drops kit works, where a digital machine is not always correct. especially if not calibrated properly, can be way off, thays why I use drops, more reliable imo.

I use it for the water. Adjust water for my soil grow yes. But it wont work to test the soil ph, You need a different kit for that. Slurry test kit, or get a soil ph probe.

water
calmag
ph+-, stirr well, let sit
fert, (s.o.)
fertigate
profit?!
I definitely wouldn’t do it in that order.

The bloom nutes I use would drop the pH an additional point... so if I pH’ed to 6.0 before adding my nutes, I’d be at 5.0 or lower.

Add all your shit, then PH. Your plants care about the pH they get, not the pH before you add pH-altering nutrients.

no just changing the order in which you put your ingredients into the bucket is not going to make the solution more acidic than before. I never suggested to pH to 6.0, now did I?
PH acid needs to work on CalMag/chalk or it may destroy the mico nute chelates.

Adjusting pH before you add base nutrients is mad and chasing a target that is about to move. If that’s what you suggest, I disagree. Base nutrients significantly change pH. water, then calmag if needed, then base nutes, then allow a rest and adjust pH.

Any other way is inaccurate. Sorry.
