PH Question

Hi All,
I'm soon going to start my first real grow. I'm concerned about keeping proper Ph during my feedings. I have a few products that I have used in my marine acquarium that bring the Ph to a 7.0. wether it was up or down it didn't matter, to me this seems like the only way to go .... but then again the fast & easy way is usaully also the hard and & painful one, my question is. are they safe?

The products website states "Neutral Regulator™ adjusts pH to neutral (pH 7.0) from either a low or high pH and maintains it there. It softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium while removing any chlorine, chloramine, or ammonia. The use of Neutral Regulator™ makes other conditioning unnecessary. To lower pH below 7.0 use Neutral Regulator™ with Acid Regulator™ (or Discus Buffer™). To raise pH above 7.0 use with Alkaline Regulator™. All of these products will enhance and stabilize the freshwater aquarium environment."

A preemptive thanks for the feedback and I look foward to being part of the RIU community!

Idk if using a PH buffer designed for aquariums is a good idea... it removes ammonia (from fish waste) which is the primary source of nitrogen for your plant (ammonium nitrate).

I nearly made that mistake, hydro shop was miles away but aquarium a 5 minute drive, I read up on it and its more harmfull than out of ph range water, easy mistake and a bitch to work out why your plant is taking a turn for the worse, first thing you ask yourself is , is the ph ok? and it will be, just locking out other vital chemicals, and you would never expect the water you just ph'ed to be the problem and start on an endless quest to salvage your plants . . . .
