Hangng light to 100cm away reduced heat 2C more and i dont have RH problem at all now.
It changed temp because you have your thermometer in direct light which is distorted from the radiant heat of the light.

Plants tolerate radiant heat far better than they do high air temps.
Which is why meteorologists measure air temp in a shaded area and not in direct light, because that's the correct way to measure air temperature.

The way to check radiant heat is with the hand test.

It's air temp that vital , hence why I'm bringing it up, because you may find your real air temp isn't as high as you think it is.

I can keep my hand close as 15 cm to light and not feeling any heat.

If I'm being matter if fact about it or seem to lack manners, it's merely because I'm working and trying to fit in important basic info to solve some issues.

I'm focusing on the heat issue

Considering the circumstances in environment yeah.
I've seen far worse.
finally heard something good news lol. thats why i feel like i need to go for photos. i can keep vegging since i reach to good size. no timeto mistakes for Autos. they are not forgiving any mistakes. i thought it will be fast and good but i am failing.

anyway i will keep growing these ones. my photo seeds order on the way. it takes 2 weeks to get. so i will keep them alive and see if things are going good.

Yeah for sure photoperiods would suit you better, especially since you will have lights off in hottest parts of the day.
I know lots of folks like autos and I can see some benefit, especially since they've vastly improved since early days, but photos give you the control to get the most out of your situation.
Not everybody has or can have the ideal environment, you have to do what you can to make the best of your situation.

yeah. now i need to learn watering. last time with my mature plants i overwatered them and growth stunned. leaves curling down. but this time i am watering them with finger check. if 2-3cm of soil is compeletly dry then i am watering them. its like every 4 days or so. probably i am doing that wrong yoo :) sigh its so hard lol

A tad small but about the same size as the autos I started early in June last year but couldn't plant outside until almost the end of June because it was so cold and wet. I thought for sure I wouldn't get bugger all off them but ended up with these and they didn't get full sun all day like the spot I will grow this year further out in my yard.

ReadyToCropMazarilla.JPG

Only autos will work outside in the north here and those two were done and cropped Set. 11 and we've had killer frost before then. 6 oz each and should be able to get at least 8oz or more each from the four I'll grow this year. Couple pounds should last a while. :)

these are good looking plants. i realized and compared my new seedlings with first ones which i didnt fed with fertilizer. 16 days old plant looks bigger than first ones. first ones was same size at week 4. which is 10 days difference. nutes works good i think. i will also change my watering Schedule. every 4 days is too less i think. afraid to overwater them but i will still try. then lst at week 4. wish me good luck.

Don't set your waterings by how many days but lift your pots to see how light they are getting to determine when to water. Unless in coco then water the hell out of them at least once a day. Soild at the top dries very fast by evaporation so the finger trick to determine watering leads to overwatering. With a small plant it's roots will be much longer than the plant is tall so are in very moist soil further down and giving the plant lots of water.

I generally let mine dry out too much so trying to water less, more often. I'm using soilless ProMix HP as my base then mixing in a bunch of organics instead of the 3-part hydro nutes I've used for over 20 years mostly in DWC.

Even seedlings need something to eat. If you use regular soil there will be some nutrients in even the most basic hardware store offerings but they won't last long so some sort of food needs to be added. Starting seeds in straight ProMix I'll water my starter cups with something like seaweed fertilizer so as soon as they sprout they have food available. It's nice and mild and has a little bit of everything in it to help the baby get going.

Autos are a bit of a different beast compared to regular plants. They have a built-in life clock so to get the best results everything needs to be optimal from the start. With photos you can screw up and recover while vegging as long as needed to get them back on track.
