plants falling over

Hey everyone, well my mothers have been slowly tipping to the side and i figured it would make them stronger to let them grow, but they're now pretty much almost completely parallel to the ground. My plan is to tie to them to sticks which should work, but i was wondering what could've caused this. If anyone has any input on past experiences i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

P.S. They are in the last 2 weeks of flowering with about 10% brown hairs. about 1' from a 400w HPS. I've also been using technaflora's recipe for success the first time i water everyday.

did you have a fan blowing on it? if you didnt you should start not now on the flowering stage but on your next crop cause it will make the stalk thicker

you've got big buds and weak stems. tie em up and let them finish....

yes you're right lol the buds are preeeetty. I will go about tieing them asap.

i don't know i've had the same problem,

do have a fan blowing on em but by the end of flower they start to fall all over themselves, but only for certain strains, so i kno some of it has to do with the strain.

if i am to buy a fan, how hard should there be air blowing on the plants?

does it look like this? this one was exposed to about 5 hours of 50 degree weather during a move it took me nearly a month to revive it but it lst'd as it came back

yup im sure that shock cost me alot of weight on the harvest but the high was good as hell lol. Very heady sativa high. in the last week the amount of trichs more than doubled and the buds swelled considerably, it taste good to after a couple weeks of curing but as i said im sure i lost alot of what could have been.

ya i really messed up my 1st grow shocked the piss out of them girls, buds where airy but was a realy good high.

I bet we've all messed are plants up during the learning curve.
Sometimes my buds tend to bend the stalks over but I consider this a good thing.

oh hell ya big buds bending is very nice, but when you have big ass stems and there still bending over, now thats awsome. thats why good air flow to your plants is important during the growth cycle.

if my buds arent tipping over they arent growing right...imo
