I posted 3 weeks ago about the same question and people advised me I had weeks to go. Well i gave it a few more weeks and am wondering if you guys think my girls Are ready to chop now? Let me know what you think based off the pictures!

I would not if it still had leaves intact. It really needed a least a couple of more weeks IMO.

I defoliate as they start to become necrotic some people defoliate a bunch more. But you defiantly went a little to far. I would cut them since all the leafs are gone.

So then do you guys recommend not defoliating your plants?
How many grows have you had so far?

i find training and selective pruning more beneficial such as topping and lollipopping or using a scrog etc.

i barely remove any leaves.

I’ve been an aggressive trainer and pruner I’ve topped, super cropped, LST’d, FIM’d, left them alone, defoliated heavily (probably at incorrect times), manifold trained.

My preferred method now is topping and a screen.

This is my 3rd grow. I have topped all my plants and I do also use the scrog technique. I did defoliate with this grow for my first time but the plant also did a decent job at shedding a lot it’s self. Especially the bigger plant for some strange reason

The plants pictures above appear to have been heavily depleted of nutrients.

Even the one with leaves has very pale leaves and multiple issues.

plants flowering times can be lengthened due to nutrient issues during the grow.

i would harvest the one with no leaves before all those brown crusty leaves causes a bud rot issue.
