you have a sativa dominant strain and its just doing what it does naturally. look up lst for a way to train the plant to stay shorter.

Wow, when you start flowering you can expect them to grow another 6-18 inches, but it sounds like they are either an autoflowering strain (in which you cant choose when they flower) or some light is getting into your box which is allowing them to stay in the vegitive stage

Nib,

you could try to do what I did, break the main stem 6 - 8 inches apart then fold the stem back on itself and zip tie it together and you will be just fine

I would opt to try to train it before snapping the main stem, I did this 2 weeks into 12/12 and ran into the same problem you did

My plant is doing just fine and is almost done

Good luck

That sounds about right, you should be about at the end of the flower growth spurt. They will grow a little taller right before harvest time.

You can expect between 3 and 4 times growth when you switch to flowering. So 18 inches and you can expect another 54 inches within the first 4 to 6 weeks of flowering. That's right at six feet, i'd say that you are right on target.

Just be ready for a little more close to the end.

I am a first time grower wanting to know if I'm doing the right thing. I currently have 6 blueberry seedling plants that are 2 weeks old. I am using pro mix bx soil, and have not yet got the nutrients for them. I am growing in a 3x2x1 grow box for my veg stage with 3 45 watt = 200 light output each and I have 2 5 inch cpu fans for ventilation one on top for exhaust and one on bottom for intake. It is currently too cold to keep fans running as it has gotten the soil very cold. SO I have the fans off and I just leave the doors open. I was wanting to know if I am doing things right. Below are pics of my 2 week old babies. Let me know if they look healthy or if I'm killing them.

i also recently had two out of my clone go from around 18'' and shoot up to around 4 feet with in 3 weeks of flowering, but i have a sneeky suspicion that my friend making the clones F'd up and gave me two different kinds of plants. but i'm just training them to grow from one side of my tent to the other. it doesn't take much to gingerly bend them in the direction you want them to go.
