I am looking at the California Light Works Solar Storm 220w, it looks like it would be a good option for me. A bit more money sure, but I'll give extra money for being able to rest assured the money is well spent. I am hoping that, with time, as said earlier, LED's get cheaper and higher quality everyday, and that soon I can totally replace my 600w HID with one massive Solar Storm! :) Thanks so much everyone, and happy growing to all.

Three plants around 1 pound each... with 2 255w pannels...
3 pounds = 48oz... 48oz = 1360g. And that's almost 2 1/2 grams per watt smart guy.
They have been much better than the 1k hps they replaced... at half the power consumption and heat output
But keep with the shit talking about how their garbage... You're beyond ridiculous... It's funny and entertaining.:clap:

And how do you explain how my two P450s have so far blown away a 1k HPS/MH setup that pulled a pound a plant? And in 5 years the amount of HPS/MH bulbs I'd have to buy alone would cost over $500.
I have results to back what I say and actually own their product...Do you?

All anyone can do is post there specs and say bullshit but cant prove a single thing they claim... It's amazing how hateful and stupid some people can be.
Platinum must be doing something right their one of the most popular LED company's on the market and they keep all you haters
chirping their name.
So by all means keep droning on and on about how a light you know very little about and have never used is "Garbage" and cant do anything near what it claims... makes you sound very intelligent.

Heres what you don't seem to understand: There is such a thing as objective data and science in horticultural lighting. If someone has all the relevant data for a grow light they can objectively judge it without having to do test grows. You can say that you smoke two packs of cigaretts a day and feel great but that doesn't make them healthy, just like you saying you like plat led doesn't make it a good light. This isn't a matter of opinion, there is science behind it.

Wow, those heavenbright leds are pretty nice deal - the Minny gets you 400w out of the wall for $500 bucks. Killer.

I just checked your grow journal, which is still in progress, and I can see you mention multiple times that this is your first time growing under the pleds. How can you be talking about your pled g/w before you even harvested once under them. If that doesn't show any neutral bystander that you are obviously just afvertising pled I don't know what will.

You're absolutely right I misspoke my bad... I was trying to say I pulled 3 pounds with HPS and have many times as I did say in my journal... and P450s are so far out preforming that setup ... thicker and faster growth... at the current rate it will do as good if not better.
I have 3 friends that come over and check them out all the time and have seen every grow I've done... their amazed when they see the difference and so am I
That's the reason I get on here and defended them... I did plenty of research on them before I bought them... I knew there were better lights out there for the money but I like what they all around put out It works very well and has a great warranty.
I don't like how most company's only back their products for a year... three at best then you're fucked
I just don't understand most of you on this forum... the amount of hate you give Pled is unreal...
And 90% of you have never owned one...and just chirp what others said and claim. Like the Epistar debate no one has proof but you like to :spew:the shit like it's facts...
Never seen a forum with as many asshole troll haters as RIU they take the cake... almost every thread has a few.

He's a make up my story as I go kind of guy. 2.5gpw would be a record on this forum. He's using 20% efficient leds..... it's impossible. He's a platinum led troll. Or maybe he weighs the plant with soil. Either way he's not intelligent enough to see he's the only idiot in the room.

Take note this is where 90% of pled marketing money goes. Bull shit outright lying advertisement....it sure doesn't go to superior product.
