Yes, I ran Advanced Sunshine Mix #4 DTW right after I came out of rails which was a blend. Seemed the same as my coco/perlite mix I'm running now.

It's so funny, for so long I thought you were a soil grower :)
nope, outdoor veggies in dirt but never ganja

i picked up a bale of the sunshine 4 and kinda want to try it. i thought you treat it more like soil? i love auto watering coco dtw. set the res and forget it for a week.

It's been almost a decade now but I remember it running the same but to be fair Advanced Sunshine Mix #4 is a coco peat blend.

.

Seems small and expensive - look at a 3'x3' or 4'x4' tent, like a Mars or Gorrilla.

Lights - HLG Scorpion Diablo
6" Inline fan and carbon filter, ducting
A hard plastic liner for your tent
Cloth pots
A good food line - something like Remo or Success are great as are some cheaper nutes.
5 gallon bucket for mixing nutes
1 gallon pouring can with spout
Good quality seeds

.
He mentioned wanting to go hydro.

Hell I'd try it as is. I'd be curious about running a pure peat mix and if you have it smoke it :bigjoint: or something. I've been considering trying soil LOL but that will have to wait.
i've been thinking about running 1/2 hydroton, 1/2 peat and trying to force it to become a daily feed situation DTW.

i definitely don't want to have to worry about if this plant needs water and that one doesn't kinda deal. especially with summer around the corner.

like after harvest to re-use it? not sure what you mean.

Re-use. I used to run it in my f&d pots straight. I don't see why you'd want it in your garden. Not that there isn't any in mine...but it's reusable. That's how I've treated it. Cleaned it and re used it.
