high all,
im having an issue with some pineapple chunk im doing, i know theres been various things people have had go wrong with them but i havent come across this when ive been searching, they were repotted about 2-3 weeks ago into bio bizz light mix and are under some cfl 200w, not feeding yet as ive read they can be finniky and to be honest they look ok as far as that goes, temps are great never going below 21 degrees, i know purple stems etc can mean a lot of different things but i cant put my finger on it and would apreciate some help /opinions as i want to move them to my veg area but need to know its worth it, its the main stem im looking at more so then the fan leaves but it could be all connected,
apreciate any ideas
thanks

They look good man. Some strains just have purple stripes on the stems. I don't hink you have anything to be worried about.

The veins in the main stem always screams to me that they need N and Mg.

Try a light feeding.

There's a fair bit of distance between your nodes too for so early on.

More N will help to tighten those up as too will lowering lights or increasing lights.

thanks johndamon, the reason i havent fed is by all accounts these are very sensitive, and the light soil has been good for 2-3 weeks with other varietys, the longest distance between nodes is an inch but in the pics looks a lot more i know, there is a couple like that and on some theres only a tiny gap, just put that down to phenos, theyre under a 200w enviro light and are only a couple of inches away, though now in need of more light to move on, just didnt want to ding them straight under the 600 mhs untill im sure they havent got a major issue, as you can see when i put them into this soil 3 weeks ago i got a bit of burn but since then they look really healthy, just the stems!!!!

Yeah, no worries, many strains grow purple stems from the get-go. Nothing to worry about, just genetics. I just popped a couple of DIY crosses and the main stem and initial leaves all had purple stems and purple veins on the first set of leaves.
