Hello fellow stoners and stonetters? I'm currently undertaking a 3 plant grow in a 31"x31" tent, using a 600w mh/hps lamp. 1 white widow, 1 bubblegum and 1 AK-47 all from ILGM. First off, my AK is quite a bit behind the others due to germination failure with 2 other seeds but also seems to be growing a bit slow as well. Anyway, pH in either the WW or the BG has never been above 6.7 but pretty constant at 6.5. I'm using Root Farm Hydroponic mix, ratio; 0.3- 0.06- 0.19. Along with the Fox Farm Trio. Growth seemed a bit slow at first due to over-potting but has looked very healthy until 3 days ago at lights on. I noticed the tip of 1 of BG's leaves turning brown and blotchy and were also sagging a bit. I fed them later that day with FF nutes. Waited until lights on and BG had perked right up. Thing is, I had a bad MH lamp after only 6 days into their cycle so I switched to an HPS for a week until I got a new MH which was shortly before I fed them. Er'go I don't know whether to attribute the perkiness to the new MH lamp or the nice dose of nutes. And still the brown crusty spot remains on the tip of the leaf. Can anyone identify this? I was thinking maybe a phosphorus deficiency??? I don't want to do anything at this point to jeopardize the beautiful new growth, any recomendations? I realize this is lengthy but I'm trying to provide as much info as possible for one of you master growers with more knowledge than I, your humble garden tool. HaHa! Thanks in advance!

What do you mean by pH has been "pretty steady" ..do you test it with a meter?

.. also they look a little wet, don't know if you just watered or not and the hps light wouldn't have affected anything

It’s nothing to worry about the new growth looks good. Looks a bit overwatered at this stage it’s just best to leave it be to much love will harm it ;)

Cool, thanks. So what, let her dry out a little? I usually feed her 0.5- 0.75 gallons every 3 or 4 days (twice weekly). The surface soil is typically dry up to a cm down when I feed her. Should it be a bit more dry than that?

That sound a little much at once for water. You need to let the roots grow and explore to find water and they’ll only do that when its drying out.
I know by the weight of the pot when to water.
