I guess i kind of suspected it. i have been spraying purecrop1 once every couple weeks but i guess that was not enough. i just sprayed them down now, apparently you can spray up until harvest with it.

Is there any coming back from this or does it all have to be scrapped? if i spray them every day will it eventually come back when they are drying/curing?

Purecrop 1 is just vegetable oils and citric acid. You don't want to be spraying anything oil based in flower as the residue likely won't all wash off when you wash the buds. Dr Zymes is basically just citric acid as well but doesn't have any oils in it and would be the better choice of the 2. I'd just mix a spray up myself but you probably don't want to bother with that. Regardless of what you do you need to do it yesterday. Get online and order something and pay for the next day delivery if it's an option and you don't have Prime.

You're going to want to spray those girls down good so have a fan handy to dry them off afterwards so they don't sit wet.

Plan on washing that bud when you harvest.

You also need to look at your grow environment.

Good luck.

That Dr Zymes is very similar to Flying Skull Nuke Em which is also citric acid and they both contain some of the same inert ingredients. But damn that Nuke Em is over $45 a quart. That's why I mix my own stuff these days.

I'm in Canada and we don't have that here unfortunately. How hard would it be to mix my own? Are you sure you can't with Purecrop1? i thought that was kind of the big selling point. When i spray they are completely dry in 5 minutes and i've never noticed any residue.

I really didn't want to go down the bud washing route but i guess i have no choice. Have you ever done it?

Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) -This is possibly the best known of the home-made, organic solutions for powdery mildew. Although studies indicate that baking soda alone is not all that effective, when combined with horticultural grade or dormant oil and liquid soap, efficacy is very good if applied in the early stages or before an outbreak occurs.

Use this recipe to make your own solution—mix one tablespoon of baking soda with a teaspoon of dormant oil and one teaspoon of insecticidal or liquid soap (not detergent) to a gallon of water. Spray on plants every one to two weeks.

Potassium bicarbonate– Similar to baking soda, this has the unique advantage of actually eliminating powdery mildew once it’s there. Potassium bicarbonate is a contact fungicide which kills the powdery mildew spores quickly. In addition, it’s approved for use in organic growing.
Milk – The latest player in the fight against powdery mildew is milk. It’s not clear yet why it works so well, but it is believed that naturally occurring compounds in the milk are at work to combat the disease while also boosting the plant’s immune system. One experiment showed good results by applying a weekly dose of one part milk to two parts water.
