Yeah no, 2x sf1000 is way better than one sf2000 like you said. You can manipulate them based on the situation you're in, different heights, intensity etc. Plus if I want to grow say 2 different strains of auto, so both 18/6 but one gets taller bcus, then I can at least work only on the light I'm interested in
That's the reason why I have mine the way I do.
The auto's can't handle the intensity like the photoperiod can so I'm able to back off on them.
I'm running 300w in a 2x4.. tho the sf2000 ran 211w on the meter. I only count what's on the label. IMG_5744.JPG

@GrowOR12 Looking good! 4x2 you say? I'd still recommend you buy 2 sf1000 instead of 1 sf2000 for the reasons @tyke1973 and I said earlier. You never know you'll want/need to reposition your lights in the future, and since tilting ( long ) qb at an angle is not the best idea IMO, I'd buy them "detached" :leaf:
Oh, and I'd keep an eye out on SpiderFarmer's upcoming qb. Maybe you'll want to buy that one instead of the sf1000/2000 once it's out ;-)

2 more sf1000 on top of the single sf1000 I currently have?

Nice ladies, they look healthy and happy, sending good vibes to you :peace:
300w? Interesting. Migro measured 97w actual on the sf1000 so I would have imagined one sf2000 couldn't pass the 200w threshold

Yes, the sf1000 does hover between 97-103w & the sf2000 runs between 200-213w. That's what that +/-5 on the specs means I guess. I do have a meter. No need for migro.. tho he does post a lot of helpful stuff.

Edit: I showed 99w on the sf1000 to be consistent after about 20 mins.. the sf2000 went up to 213 and went down to 211w after 30-35 mins.

If you plan on having more plants in there. You should consider 1 sf1000 per plant. Keep in mind that depending on the strain, you'd want around 1,5ft of space per plant bcus of the flowering.

For example HydroKid is using 1xsf2000 and 1xsf1000 in his 2x4 so you could use 3xsf1000 in your 4x2

Definitely.. separate panels give an advantage.. but I only have 1 sf2000 & 1 sf1000 in there. I adjust my plants according to distance from the light.

If 1 takes off (Like it has) I put it solo under the sf1000 so I can adjust that 1 panel for the only plant that needs the raise.

Oh I see. I didn't take into consideration that +/-5 you are talking about though now I remember I've seen it on many many lights. Ofc they would write the minimal wattage draw even though it hovers. Thanks, I learned something new today :bigjoint:

Day 35 tomorrow, had a bad time over past few days .Lost a fair few mothers ,to powdery mildew. The problem I've found is getting any other room you have in the same room to the right temp. They have been running cold all 3 rooms to be honest,so I've added another t5 to the suto flower grow, along the the cob and a heater to mother room.Fans cant be on any lower, ones things for definite those spiderfarmer ked panels will be great in summer when hps run real hot.But after this one im sticking hps lights back in the main room ,just till after winter .Yesterday cost me big time ,had to get rid of the next set .The Would have been ready to flower straight after these one .So start again,I've lost months of work with sugar factory all had to be took down also disco biscuit lost that line. And super lemon haze gutted a understatement.Heres a few pictures of main room .I will still be using the leds in tent ,but hps in main room. The bud looks amazing but that room is a worry now if I lose that im absolutely up shit creek .20201105_095051.jpg20201105_095040.jpg20201105_095029.jpg20201105_094934.jpg20201105_094923.jpg20201105_094856.jpg20201105_094844.jpg20201105_094829.jpg20201105_094818.jpg20201105_094806.jpg

Day 38 ,after losing everything in the room to powdery mildew my hopes are praying its not got to these. One thing I have learnt in all these years of growing around 15 years indoor and around 5 year out door before that .Is this ,SHIT HAPPENS,these things are sent to test us.Sometimes you just have to forget about it and just move on,i was told yesterday a friend who also had the same cuts has i had also got hit by it .But I've said it earlier im ocd with things so I do think I caught it early. We have blitzed the whole area with bleach .And will continue to do so until the seeds have germinated .I have Blood orange skull cap regs also pack super lemon haze, pack of exodus cheese 1 green crack 2 zstittlez 1 orange juice and a exodus cheese auto .Feminised,im gonna veg for a shorter time and hopefully scrog but we will have to see if this pm is under control .20201109_093704.jpg20201109_093652.jpg20201109_111520-01.jpeg20201109_111545-02.jpeg20201109_095957-01.jpeg20201109_111605-01.jpeg

Howdy! This is my first grow since 2007 when CFL was all the rage. I'm a bit rusty and new to the LED game so forgive some of those funky leaves...I had to fight PH and cal mag issues that reared up in flower. This light has been kicking ass though, so I'm loving it so far.:clap:

Day 42 of flower

In the 5x5 the GSCracks are stacking up hardcore. The past few weeks the bud growth has been crazy, The Spiderfarmerled is starting to turn the buds into rocks, very very dense.

Really loving these lights, this crop i just way above what i thought it was going to be,2 of my friends have now jumped on these lights now too.
The color i un real its going from pink to dark purple to black, that often happens with disco biscuit .But its also happening with the super lemon haze. They will be 8 week this friday, i be honest i thinking i may leave them another week, just because that lemon haze needs it the exodus cheese i aint photographed it way behind,But it did not have a light above it for the first two weeks of flower, its a great looking plant and it stinks.I will post more photos of that one, when i take thee two down ,it will have sf 2000 over it to finish it off.The table that is over these is around 2 1/2 mtr by 1 1/2 mtr so the lights have done great. The buds on the out side of the table are solid, most of these photos are of the bottoms. The smell from this is the strongest ive grown ,it makes your eyes water if ya in room to long, smells beautiful.Looking like a night a nice christmas lock down or not
Like i said the pictures are of the bottoms,Because i needed to check the trichomes out .o i just tried to keep light down to a min,used a macro diffuser light ring nikon d500,tamron 1/1 macro lensDSC_0096 (2).JPGDSC_0097 (2).JPGDSC_0099 (2).JPGDSC_0100 (2).JPGDSC_0101 (2).JPGDSC_0102 (2).JPGDSC_0103 (2).JPGDSC_0105 (2).JPGDSC_0107 (2).JPG

Day 40 from sprout. Under SF2000
Pineapple express auto - by AMS seeds. View attachment 4745841
I be perfectly honest in summer it would be so easier than hps ,but its took me a while to dial the temps in. More so out side this room,I have mother room and a auto in the tent in the same room, rooms with a room. The problem ive had is the temps havr been that low ,its been a nightmare.Cold air and a fan going down on me ,resulted in powdery mildew.Thats new for me,i dont ofyen get problems with stuff like this ,im ocd with everything having to be so clean .Cuttings may have brought it in though, but i doubt that tbh.Im gutted that I have lost the mothers i had ,but I get some of them again. But in mean time i am going to just use seeds ,this pheno of disco biscuit looks beautiful .But there are better phenos out there, perhaps not has good looking .But weight wise ,it will still do a very nice weight so will super lemon haze. But the quality of the bud and look and resin wise is all due to good genetics and these lights. The lights are playing a massive part though ,a friend is doing the same cut of both ,his buds are definitely bigger from hps .But the look of them is a world apart .He liked the plants i have going that much him and his brother have both ordered the boards.I aint just saying it but it really has convinced me to definitely look into leds more ,I've been approached by 2 other companies since posting these on two sites, but i wi finish the test of first with these.I would love to have tried another 2 of these boards so I would have been running 6 .The out side of the table buds are solid rock hard,so is everything under the table .I do need to get has much light on that exodus has possible, its absolutely one of the best seed run exodus I've ever done .I would definitely have re vegged if it was a reg selected female .
