Hey, ive been growing for years never had a problem with pm. Last round i accepted a clone didnt think much about it since it hat no bugs and looked clean. and boom within two days of bein in my tent there was mildew everywhere on her, and i noticed it was slowley starting to spead onto my other moms. I quickly killed those moms. asked my homie for backup and sprayed sulpfer everywhere in veg. witin no time my whole flowering tent was infected i dont even know how. and all in all it was just aterrible round. now i started new. kept spraying sulpher on my moms. and havent seen mildew since the last flower run on anything. so here is my question. Im scarred ^^ I dont want to get mildew again. do you guys think i can spray Difenoconazole on my veg plants a week before flower and still safley smoke it in 70 days? if not do you guys have any recomendations. I cannot throw my moms away.

Lost Coast Plant therapy it saved my crop When I first spotted the PM starting. I’m usually not a fan of foliar sprays but this took care of the problem fast. I don’t recommend using in late flower due to the same concerns you’ve mentioned though.

I just bought some kind of copper fungicide that is supposed to be good but I haven’t used it so I can’t give a first off opinion. I used a baking soda/water mix last year outdoors and had no issues.

Sulfur spray up to the first week or two of flower. Then use potassium bicarbonate.
thing is. i dont want to always spray for the rest of my life. i just want to get rid of the midew. i bought everything new. only my moms i coundt throw away wich is why i had to spray fungicide. They already been getting sulpher treatment for the last few month didnt dseem to do much.

Let us know how it goes I'm in the same situation just harvested a shit round and going to clean everything and replace filters, ducting, ect. Got some regalia to spray on the next round as a precaution.

Personally the lost coast PT handles this well. When the mixture makes contact it kills all the “bad guys” and as long as you wipe down the entire area surrounding (tent walls etc) the spores will be ridden of, and will not come back as long as you keep the temp and humidity in the range where the old spores cannot survive. Hope this helps! Good luck

Get an ozone generator and let it go in the room for an hour or so between runs.

I was thinking about that but the ones on Amazon didn't have the best reviews for durability. Are they really that much better than cleaning? Friend has an air compressor I was gonna blast the crap out of everything while blowing it outside then clean and run the hepa. I'll get an ozone if they're worth it. Never had pm in 8yrs growing here just got a rogue clone

Yeah, I never had to deal with PM until 3 years ago. That was after 15 years PM free.

I now use a pump sprayer to marinate the room in bleach, then let the O3 generator go for an hour or two. I seem to have won the battle for now.

I also preventatively do a once a week sulfur spray in veg and early flower. And then once every week or so hit them with a silica mixed with potassium bicarbonate mix. Haven't had a recurrence in a year or so.

.

I had a 2 grow bout with PM and I think that I finally have it under control. I believe that I got mine from a clone as well.

Instead of spraying Sulfer try vaporizing it, you'll be sure to get every surface in an even coat. A one time, 4 hour, vaporization should take care of any PM and spores in your grow tents.

.

I bought an AirROS machine that puts Reactive Oxygen Species into the air (mostly hydrogen trioxide) and kills any PM/spores in your tent. It'll also take care of any smell in your grow.

The AirROS is expensive but if you have the money I think it's the only true cure for PM. Check out Renfro's thread:

.

There are a lot of other things that you can do, baking soda spray, fungicides, but you're just battling to keep the PM in check.

,

One other thing I do that you might not want to try is to swchazee on the flip (snip off all the leaves at flower) and then PM on the stems has no place to hide. Check out my journal linked at the bottom of this post.
