problems cloning kosher and holy grail

hi,

My kosher and holy grail clones keep dyting.

I have tried cloning them in one of those buckets with the mister pump. i have tried cloning them in dirt in seedling trays with humidity dome. i've tried cloning them in cups with plastic baggies for humidity domes. i've always made sure there were nodes where i cut off the leaves so the roots could sprout. i have no trouble cloning OG tahoe, violator kush, vanilla kush, sputnik...... just the kosher and the holy grail (which is ofc a kosher hybrid)

i've tried to keep the light low and the humidity high. but i either get some kind of root rot or the leaves start to grow then get all messed up and die.

does anyone have a good method of kloning kosher kush (and holy grail)?

thx!

Some strains won't clone well at all, I heard big bud don't! Scrape off the "skin" of the very bottom of the clone, the bit you dip in the clonex, more surface area might give you a better chance, just a suggestion mate.... Good luck

my og kush from the same seed bank is the same way. ive found that the moms need lots of food to get clones to survive. it would be cool for 10-14 days but then strart to lockout on me. hard to stop lockout with no roots lol. anyway ive started using root riot plugs and keep them very dry till u see roots. th og also like less humidity and more air flow than my other strains. rots are usually at least a week behind other strains cloned the same day. gotta have ph under 5.8 too and again my others are tolerable with ph up to 6.3ish. hope it helps and id love a cut of each if u get them to root. i have 2 kosher beans but a cuts a cut lol. u in cali?

I like to feed my plants 2 days prior to cutting clones and foliar feed one day prior.

It is easier to clone from a cloned mother than it is to clone from a seedling mother. For various reasons. Place a single layer of gravel under your rockwool cubes. I find 2"x 2" cubes cut from slab works best all round. Leave the bark on them, they are not pencils and the root grows from the bark. A scrape on one side and then the other will suffice. Powders work better than gel and mj is a semi-hardwood. Don't allow the acid from your fingers to come in contact with the clone, use soft gloves.....

I'm having the same issues right now. I can't get my hgk to clone for shit. I've got 5 girls bout to be harvested in 2 days. I think I'm going to keep lower growth and popcorn buds. Put back in veg room and reveg then I will take new clones. Good luck to me.

All I do is clean my scissors in alcohol, take a clipping rough up the base of the cutting that I'm gonna dip in the clone gel, dip it, stick it in rockwool already soaked for about 30 minute in 5.5 ph water with LIFE cloning nutes, then cut any leave longer than about 1 1/2-2 inches in half, then when my trays full I keep the lid on for a few days with air holes completely closed only opening each day just to let a little air in on until about day 3 I open the air holes open a third open, and open a third more each day til open then i take the lid off after one more day of it fully open and love my roots, I'm also in a high altitude area and do holy grail clones
