Process for Caregivers

Hey everyone, my first post ever here with hopefully more to come. So I plan on becoming a caregiver through the state of Maine. My question is how long does the process take from payment to the state, to legally be allowed to grow for another patient?

I know you have to find a patient first (done) do the application, send it in, send them money, etc. I'd just like to know, if I started in April, how long should I expect to wait before I'm a legal fully certified caregiver.

Thanks in advance for the info guys

Last I knew, the state was responding within a few weeks. However, patients now have a card they give to their caregiver when they agree to be their provider. If you had that, and a copy of your money order/application, I think you would be fine. Not that anyone is going to ask about it to begin with.

Ok good to know. I want to be 100% legal is all seeing how I'm downtown. Everything will be real hush hush until I know I'm golden anyway but I won't have to worry about that til bloom so that's perfect if they can get to me within a month or so. One of the individuals plans on harvesting around April which is when I would be starting and The other guy has never grown. So I'll get my stuff going grow wise while all the paperwork goes through and it should work out perfect. Thanks for the comment man I appreciate it
