The LED is nothing, 5F for each light set(the veg and bloom lights). The HPS was around 25-30F

Not mine, I'm running a thousand watt... and its 3 degrees hotter with each light.u just bought the wrong stuff man. If you're running hot now what are you going to do in the summer? I'm putting my window ac in.

Well hopefully the humidifier does the trick cuz I'm outta ideas after that(short of running a rather costy AC and even that is far from ideal, it would take up my whole window then where would I vent the outgoing air?
Anyways that aside, I did some reading and I think what is happening with the brown spotting and leaves dying is that the plants are getting nute burn from taking too much of their water from the soil due to lack of humidity. The amount of nutes in that starter soil should be fine throughout the veg cycle but not if the plant's only water source is the soil. If my theory is correct then boosting the humidity should solve that issue if nothing else.
