pros and cons of autoflower: please provide info

yea so what are the pros and cons of autoflowering? can someone throw some info my way will +rep

One con is that even a runty 'standard' seed will yield more. Pros? I can't think of any.

pros if your growing outside with a short season they flower fast and will flower no matter what and also a pro is lights dont have to change so you can flower with veg plants cons dont yeild worth a fuck and can not clone

cons: biggest one is THC level is much lower than the super strains available now-a-days
lower yield as you cannot veg to bigg plants,you cannot clone autos so you either have to make your own seeds or buy more.
pros: good for short growing seasons in Northern climates, they don't take upas much space or height making them good for stealth grow boxes.
They can be grown with a 24 hr lights on from begining to end or outdoors in the middle of summer.

pro is stelth and some have limited space they can be grown with cfl easly ive tried

why are ther so many different seeds -cause diff people like diff stuff - why are there big suv's and full sized trucks as well as mini coopers and motorcycles

can not measure an auto against a reg like comparing apples and oranges some like 1 some like the other me i like both

Pros.... You can veg/flower in the same room. So you can now have a sea of green SOG all under one light with no need for a flower room. Speed! 60 to 80 days after that seed sprouts you will be harvesting. Size. Not all autoflowering strains are 12 to 15 in. There are big autoflowering strains that can get up to 4 feet! Not to common but there are some out there. Another plus about size is if your like menand only have limited space...... Autoflower is the way too go.THC levels..... Autoflowering strains have came along way in last few years. There has been record of a autoflower strian of 19% THC level from a lowryder. Now thats not bad at all. Not saying yours or anyone els is going to be that high but just goes to show they are very good still.

The "pros" of short/height/stealth are propaganda.

Short small strains exist, training methods and topping methods exist to further keep plants short/low/small, short flowering time strains exist, if growing outdoors planting can be timed to keep overall growing time short along with keeping plants smaller and shorter and stealthier and they will be more potent.

The "cons" outweigh the propagandistic "pros."

The only pro is that for those lacking the ability or willingness to figure out what strains to grow and how to do the things mentioned above and or change the settings on their timers, with auto-flowering strains now even "Rain Man" can grow too.

Pros most stay small for small areas one light cycle good for the first time grower and theres some pretty good strains cons what bricktop says.... You can do the same with some regular strains

so wrong they can be cloned but it dont make any since to do so
1 - cant keep mother life to terminate in about 10 weeks
2 - plant has to be about 5 weeks to have enought to cut off
3 - takes about 2 to 3 weeks to grow roots
4 - now mother is about week 7 minimum and daughter ready to flower
5 - now mother and daughter both to start to die at week ten
6 - cause daughter asums age of mother when cloned

so tell me what is the since everyone says they cant be cloned but dont know what they speaketh just repeating what they heard or read not tried
oh well that is how this site works people talking that should be reading and learning

ive had nothing but trouble frm autos , changing sex , not flowering under 24hr or 18/6 which meant setting another room to bud them on 12/12 and after all that low yeilds and smoke not the best , ive had sum 8week autos goin for 16 weeks now and there only just starting to flower wtf , ill be sticking to wot i no , normal stuff

I got so pissed and looked so hard to recoup my losses i made clones the first time in my life and i collected pollen and dusted two lower branches two weeks ago

sad sad sad, herms, femed seeds grow males, germ rate, rip offs, places like bc seeds

iv had no problem with germing iv had 15 seeds and only 1 autostonedryder and 1 cobra didint germ
plus autos flower for 40days + 20 for veg and there easy to look after

ladiva (Devilberry) germed everytime crazy take one day fast aye

try ladiva best smoke iv had for ages hard buds nice fruty smell/taste and can yeild 300gram per square foot

People used to bitch about skunk #1 when it first hit the scene. Our poor pure sativas.. Then it was fem seeds.. Now it's autos. The fad is to bitch.

Don't buy autos that aren't known to 100% auto.

I like autos because i am on a digital meter they can see when i have 1000 watts turning off every 12 hours. I don't want to go buy a big expensive controller to do a flip/flop. Most cops don't know you can bud out on 18/6 soo it helps in that regard.

Autos are nice outdoors where you can't grow a fucking monster. Nor spend the time training.. Training is bullshit. Get to the spot and get out, no un needed sit time.

I also like how i can stack my autos in shelving units since most stay short. Yes i can and have done this with 12/12 stuff but i have one less unit vegging "clones".

in my opinion, autos suck! why grow less yielding, less potent plants? it's like when you're at the kiddies table looking at the grown ups... why not move on? autos are easy to grow though, kids with down syndrome would have a field day. long story short, buy a timer and get a regular strain.

i like autos because its simply a different strain to grow. 5 female autos under a 250hps is pretty simple, don't need a ton of space, cheap, and most importantly you can't screw it up.

Pro's: I like growing them in my house. Auto's have their place, you just have to figure out where that place is for you.

Con's: Many people who do not like autoflowers have never tried to grow them and do not know any positive things about them. In my opinion, auto's are harder to grow than regular strains due to their different nute requirements (being too sensitive).

Why people are so down on how or what others grow is petty. Then again, it is to be expected with this crowd.

KuLong -right you are , very opinated and often wrong with big inflated egos thinking their way is the only way their way is not even a contender in the top ten you listen showing respect then do whats best for you caus no ones gonna replace your beans, or nutes, or electricity, or time,or freedom in unfrendly state, and much more --no ones going to replace none of that if you fuck up yo grow -- so gotta take it all in do what sounds best that fits your set up --

I've got acces to sfv og kush cutting, bc purple kush, and greeen crack when ever i need them. I don't live in cali where there are clubs all over. I still keep a few autos around. Doesn't have to be the knock your dick in the dirt crazy shit to get put under the lights.. lol. Some people can't handle pioneering new anything let alone weed.
