Question about growing an Auto-flower strain?

I am about to start LA Diva which is an auto, and I haven't ever grown one before. I wanted to know if you can top an auto? I'm not sure if it's a good idea since they start to flower so quick.

Um, I'm not sure... I'd be willing to try it on one or two to see what happens... Worst case scenario, u screw up two, but still have the rest of your pack to depend on... Best case scenario, you yield a little bit more... I'd give it shot... Hell, I've never grown a decent crop that wasn't topped, but then again, I've never grown any autos, either... So, I'm all for topping and making plants big, ol' bushy monsters, which makes me a very happy farmer come harvest day... So, give it hell(only on a couple), and let us know what happens!

With autos generally it's accepted that the veg time is so slim it doesn't have time to recover from topping. But feel free to give it a go as experiment!

See I think that I am leaning towards not topping auto's unless some people who have done it before or know their shit to tell me what's up. And I only have a couple auto seeds and only 1 la diva seed, so I need to know what's up before I start my grow. I have a month before I am done with my current grow and harvest, and have the time to start my LA Diva. I also got a auto sugar mango and a gigabud which I think is an auto.

don't top - you'll set back the growth. they grow so quickly and flowering occurs early. you could end up with a small plant with low yield - GL

do not top and run lights 24/7 ..ladiva is some nice smoke. stuff i had made my mouth water so bad

They r probly right... Not enough recovery time since it flowers so quickly. May do more harm then good... I'd just let em grow how they wanna grow, as they wont get too big anyways... Then, u can't mess up with the autos... Id save the topping for a nice regular sativa or regular hybrid or regular indica, that will keep going and going and going... Ones that you can for sure top and use a ScrOG or SOG method with...
