Questions about soil composition, and adding nutes to soil

I'm just about ready to start mixing my soil up and I am looking for some advice about how I should mix my soil.

Here's what I have;
4 cb. ft of Pro-mix. (75-85% Peat moss, Perlite, and Limestone)
4 5 gallon buckets (0.85 cb. ft each)
0.35 Lbs of Growing Bat guano (10-3-1)
1.1 Lbs of Flowering Bat guano (2-17-0)
9L of Extra Perlite (Wasn't sure If I should mix in more with the soil or not)
2 46-watt CFL's
1 100watt Lighthouse Hydro Blackstar LED grow light (6 band)
Hydrometer
Digital ph tester
Home made 267Cfm Activated Carbon scrubber

My grow box is 4.6 sq/ft or 2.5"x1.85".

The instructions for the vegging Bat guano say;

"Mix 1 Tbl Spoon (15ml) per plant and water abundantly. You can top dress or simply mix in with soil..."

What the hell does that mean? Before I transplant into my 5 gallon buckets should I just put a tablespoon in the hole with each plant? Or sprinkle it on the top of the soil? Do I really only need 1 Tbl spoon of guano per 5 gallon bucket for the entire growing cycle??

The Flowering guano says;

"Transplanting: Mix in 3 tablespoons of guano per plant. Water abundantly.
Anticipation of flowering: Lightly scatter guano on surface of plants near the stem 1-2 months before flowering and water abundantly.
Flowering: Add 3 tbl spoons of guano per gallon of hot water. Mix, let cool, add to surface of plants."

Are all those steps necessary? The time lines seem a bit off, of course, but should I be mixing the both the Vegging and Flowering nutes into the soil before the plants get transplanted?

So here's what I make of it;

From what it says on the Vegging guanno I just mix 1 Tbl spoon into the soil and that's all the nutes the plant gets over the whole vegging cycle.

But the Flowering guano gets mixed in, AND gets administered over the whole flowering cycle, via guano tea.

Is there anything else I should be using? Will this grow me some killer buds?

I'm growing "BCBD - The Purps", feminized and I'd like to grow a scrog setup if these facts make any difference.

Thanks for the help guys!

No but it might grow you some bud. I take it the pro mix is un fertilized from the ingredients you list so just follow the instructions on the guano. I would mix in with the soil i.e. get a big spoon and mix the soil and guano together till evenly distributed through the soil. Hope this helps and read up on lots of threads like germination and guano. Peace

What can I add to the soil to get higher quality buds? Or is lighting my problem? Do you think the NPK levels will be high enough or should I maybe get some more nutrients?

I've been contemplating picking up another 100w LED....

Edit: I was reading about lumens/sq ft and with my current setup it should be around 2100 lumens/sq ft, and with another 100w Lighthouse I'd be looking at just over 3000 lumens/sq ft...

thoughts?

Nah dont overcomplicate things dude, first grows often fail just get some experience, Best i can say is read relevant threads where guano has been used for a whole grow, liquid seaweed is a good supplement. Just follow the instructions and read up loads should be ok.

Yes your lighting is a problem, firstly leds ait very good no matter what anyone says and those cfls are very low wattage, i use 250watt cfl's and get ok bud. Peace

Hmmm... you may be right, I've never grown but I've seen videos of people using less powerful LED lights than mine and getting results I would be happy to replicate. :)

I was more worried that the nutrients I had weren't enough, but I'll just do what the package says and see how it goes! thanks

Ok, so I've made my grow area substantially smaller, and have decided to grow 2 at a time, instead of 4....

I've also decided to pickup 2 more 42 watt CFL's.... so I'll have the 100watt LED, and 4 42watt CFL's for 2 plants.... I'd rather have 2 nice plants than 4 shitty ones...

You'll have to keep em short with those lights, 30/40cm would be best, top, Lst and pinch them for max yeilds, you will never grow great bud with those lights but should be happy with the outcome. Just cause you have more light dosent make it stronger. Peace

You'll do well with some good quality led lights and as for the guano the above mentioned advice should suffice. As for your lighting you should get some nice returns with that led and cfl on 2 plants... what strain are you growing?

Those leds and cfl's suck imo but people will still try to grow with them, just explain to this guy a typical yeild of these lights in grams please dude? Peace

Ok, So I've decided to go a bit bigger....

I now have x1 100watt black star, x1 180w Blackstar, and x2 42 watt CFL's... my grow area is 3.75cb/ft and about 32 inches tall.... I intend on doing a scrog grow with feminized seeds, growing "THE PURPS" from BC Bud Depot...

Any recommendations as far as nutes go? I could prob swing another $20-30 on additional supplies if it'll help me grow more buds!

If I get over an OZ of GOOD weed on each plant for my first grow, I'll be happy.

I really wanted a bigger light... The ufo I had was really only for a 1x1 foot area, the 180w is 2x3....

What nutes (that I can use with my guano) would you recommend?

some of the absolute best weed I've ever had was grown in guano... I have no idea what else he used, but I thought buying guano would be a good start.

Should I get some nutes that have more K levels? I'd even give MG a go if you guys think it would help me produce more, higher quality buds...

EDIT:

I bought AN Bud Factor X, Voodoo Juice and Sensizyn... now I need to know what kind of cycle to put them on... do I mix 5ml of each into 1 litre of water and add it to the plants all at once? Or do I have to add 5ml of one to 1 litre of water and keep rotating which nute I use each watering cycle?

Pretty confused about this so any help is greatly appreciated!

Haven't had any input on this, would really appreciate some opinions!

I bought some Sensi Grow A+B as well! How am I looking nute wise now??

Sensi A+B, is this the grow and bloom then or A for grow and B for bloom? Did you get there feed chart as well as this will help a lot too. Peace

Bud factor x is exspensive, i know nothing of this product nor anyone who uses it. Suppose you got the veg nutes just need some flowering nutes unless this is what the bufactor x is for. Peace
