what is the best way to upload pictures here ... i want them to look better
the pictures are resized by the forum software. Either be foolish enough to up load them to a public photo display site like photo bucket or resize them yourself with Photshop.

I've a bunch uploaded to imgur, lol most no one even notices they have like 5 views, but there's probably 1 million photos uploaded a day so it's not surprising. But that's about the only way you'll get better pics, problem is you'll encounter the same problem or the pics you post here will be like 5 pages wide.

upload ur images to imageshack.us first. You can select "do not resize" but they will be super huge. Choose "web forum size, for message boards" on imageshack and then copy the link it gives you "web forum code", paste it in your thread here and wah lah. By doing it this way they will not show as little thumbnails. peep it. With that type of camera you mos def wanna share them in high quality. peep the instructions below.

first upload to imageshack

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Then copy the code after upload is finished.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Then paste the code and it will appear as below.

no shit? so they must be protected then thru this site right?
hopefully yeah. haven't heard of anyone busted because they uploaded photos here. some cell phone cameras will leave gps info in the photo, not cool if you have an outside grow.

once already I've pm someone cos they posted with photophuckit or some such, and the muppet had accidentally allowed access to his whole album! Thanks for the heads up on phone GPS, I knew I had a reliable gut feeling not to.
Trouble is there aren't many times when "a picture saves a thousand words" is any more relevant than on riu. I know I would have had several dead plants if I hadn't been able to post their sorry photos...

I'm on Android 2.3.3. Default for the camera application is for GPS stamps on your pics as "Off". You need to have your GPS active and enabled on the camera for the stamps to include the information on your pictures. Not sure about your networks or default settings, but best just to check if it's off, especially if you leave your GPS on most of the time (I don't!).

If you're on Android 2.3.3 go to your camera application, select the settings (cog) icon, scroll down to "GPS tag" and see if it's on or off. Set to OFF! ;-)

Just checked my girlfriends iPhone 4, she never has changed any of these settings so from looking at it the default also seems to be off. Go to Settings, Location Services and view Camera on/off.
