Hey I hope someone can help me out

So iv got a little 2.5 vac and I have a like 1/4 inch tube it's pretty small that connects then connects to a jar for my chamber.

I see that this has a mettle like adapter thing, and It dosnt really seem like it would fit. but I know everyone uses these so long story short does this thing just connect right up to the vacuum? Like right onto the threads.

Yea it looks like the metal hose has a female connection that would screw right into the male connection on the vacuum pump.
Looks like it would fit my pump nicely so I hope I helped lol

If I can get that set up for 1000 is that a good deal?
Well it's hard to say, the chamber as a whole looks pretty legit but the temperature of the oven could fluctuate, which would be a problem if your trying to achieve a certain consistency so it would be important to measure the temps to know how much it fluctuates if at all.
Now all you need is a cold trap and your set up.
It has a nice little temp gauge that I'm hoping is accurate haha, so yea it looks like a good deal for the chamber and pump together :)
Edit: lol didn't see that it was an auction

I would buy a closed loop extractor before I spent that money on a vac oven.
The temps we need are too low for a $1000 oven. It can't hold 100F. It can hold 250. :)

For the Pot and set up, it seems like a good deal for the price. You can adapt all this stuff, but finding the parts is a careful chore. There are so many parts. The main thing is the o-ring seals. But, it runs up the cost.

I use mostly Granger these days. Fast service.

I ordered this stuff last night.

Evacuation Hose 72 In,Black,3/8 In SAE
Coupler,3/8 Qc X 1/4

Yeah man that's exactly what I think I need I have two 2.5 cfm pumps but just using little like quart jars doing a half ounce of oil in each on at a time,
But say if I got the big like 3 gallon chamber and got two
Then I could be purging like a ounce or mabey even two in each one at the same time!

From what I have been reading, a 1/2" hose, even thru 1/4" fittings with pull 5x faster, than a 1/4" hose.
