Re use soil

I actually prefer positive pressure in my veg tent since it's only 2x4 ft, so by having positive pressure the plants have more room. With 2 15 gal, 2 3 gal, and a couple 1 gal, I need all the room I can get, lol.
Build a frame that can also double as a trellis. When I harvest I cut the lines and restring it when the next batch stretch in flower. My sides stay nice and flat even with negative pressure.B5110046-D1FD-4103-B3AA-28618DBE88EB.jpeg

That's what exhaust fan variable speed switches are used for. Spin down the speed of the fan to the point you have slight negative airflow in the tent without the tent trying to suck in the surrounding carpet and curtains ;)
Even with mine on low, it sucks it in too much

Well no matter what, I have to leave the flap open some of the way. If I close it, then the tent gets to warm amd it sucks in on my light because I have a huge Kind k3 xl 600 that takes up alot of room in my 2x4. I keep it as dark in my room as possible and i have my window blacked out .

Do you have all the vent ports open? I have every one of my bottom duct ports opened up. Build a frame like in my picture. That was made out of about $20-$30 worth of THESE shelf tracks from Lowe’s.

Just one small flap on the bottom in the back of the tent. Held open on the outside with a angled piece of cardboard

If you're flowering in it you really don't want any light leaks.

well this sucks for me then . Feeling like I'm wasting my time growing. There is no way I can keep it 100% pitch black.

Yeah, I would find a way to cut holes and get some intake hoses into them. I’m surprised the tent doesn’t have any available duct ports you can open.
I have more ports in the bottom of the tent . There is 4 ports in the bottom. I only have the one air intake flap open .

The 1 port is enough to keep the tent from sucking in. That isnt the problem lol. People have me trippen over light leaks

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you said you only open it at night because it sucks into your lights. If you are having that problem then just open the other ports and find a way to keep light out of them. This is how I did it in mine. I bought the vents on Amazon and they basically just clip right in. They block light pretty well as is, but I stretched black nylons over them (not shown in picture) to use as a prefilter and to block the light more.991016C2-A858-4FD0-8588-4688B8B42BD3.jpeg

It's too costly not to reuse your soil
If you're not growing enough cannabis if you sold it to cover the cost of the medium (plus all other expenses including your time), something is wrong ;)

Although I don't sell, I do stock it in case I do have to barter one day (with a pandemic occurring, that wasn't a bad call!), but that's how I look at each growing-related expense... will my next grow or two cover this cost adequately, if I were to sell the crop.

Besides, I said I do re-use my soil, I just re-use it outdoors.

Nice ! Yeah I have something in place. The back air vent is like 12"x8" and it keeps the tent off the light.
So they have been in the same environment since I flipped them to 12/12 and forced them into flower . If there is any light getting in. It isnt bright and it isnt much. So I'm hoping since nothing has changed, it wont hermi the other 3. The other 3 are different strains as well so maybe the 1 plant that grew balls was sensitive to herming
