You can get grow bags from mushbox.com if you don't feel like buying all those products, they already have a rye grain mixture in them, they come pre sterilized ready to inject you can even fruit in them and get about 3 flushes. Four bags will run about 70 but you can easily make the money back and have a good jar stash.

Hey that bearded dude has helped me out plenty! He's a good guy in my book, really helpfull to newbs over at shroomery.org. Listen to everyone and get your feet wet with the cakes. Then move on to bulk and you'll never look back.

Most certainly not! Many problems can arise and then you lose possible half p's instead of a few oz's. Start small... and perfect that art. Then move onto bigger endeavors

im looking to grow some shrooms to, i have the following; fruiting chamber, substrate mix, canning jars, perlite for humidity.
i watched a 4 part video on how to grow shrooms. i watched the video said earlier to, very helpful. well in the other vid i watched the dude said that perlite is not needed and doesn't do much, is this true? i don't have spores because i don't trust the internet much so im trying to buy some from friends.
As soon as i get them though im going to noc them bitches up.
i think im ready to do this! i researched for a good 30+ hours throught the week.

All the items mentioned seem to be of great value to your grow... so in early respects, CONGRATS and may the knowledge be with you
Perlite helps a lot if your located in dry and hot places... keeps the humidity up without misting very few hours. I would invest, it does help.

84 degrees is ideal for cakes... but during the spawn stages thats a bit too hot. I would have the jars in a cooler place or run the ac if you have one available! Yes perlite is a must in those temps. Possibly a air humidifier would work great too... but start simple and build your empire from there

Do you mean after taking a spore print... if the mushroom about to be eaten is still psychoactive. Yes... it is. Spores are basically like seeds... it has to do nothing with the psycho-activity! Its good you have friends like those that share the love

Dude, what video was that. Leave the cap for 12-24 hours in a canning jar and you're fine. Don't leave it standing for that long, its unnecessary and unsanitary!
