Recurring plant problems after starting co2 supplementation

Hi,

I have a recurring problem for the last 4 grows, when I turn on the co2 the buds stop growing/swelling and start premature ripening.

The grow tent is in a lung room and I'm only adding co2 during the day, at night the lung room is open and there is fresh air coming in the room. Co2 comes from a bottle and is controlled by fuzzy logic controller.

At first I thought it was nutrient or led light related but I tried different nutrient lines and media, coco, rockwool and soil (soil grow seems a little less effected by it but still not how it should be)
Tried slowly increasing the co2 day by day, starting day one flower at 1000ppm, starting in week 4 flower after stretch finished it doesn't seem to matter.

Every time after I start the co2 it's a matter of 1 week and the buds stop swelling en will start ripening and I will end with very small buds and very low yield.
It took me some grow's to realize it has to be related to the co2 because all other tings i already changed basically.

I hope someone can help because this is extremely frustrating

Here are a couple picture's, you can already see the weird bud structure starting to form in the first pic around a week after I added co2.

For comparison the same clones the same day without co2

I forgot to tell that the first 2 grows I start adding co2 I got my highest yield ever, yield went up +-35% got just over 100 grams per sq ft so very frustrating when now I can't even get half of that.

Another strange thing, growtent with mother plants is in the same room and the mothers suddenly start trowing pistils and 1-3 finger leaves, and I'm 100% sure it's not my timer.

... and both rooms are from the same mother?
Yes taken from the same mother plant on the same day.

Edit: oh and I tried different strains, doesn't matter same problem

I'm always increasing the led light intensity gradually, around week 4 I'm at full strength.

To be honest, I don't think it has anything to do with the feeding strength/nutrients, it was my first thought but I tried different brands, different ppm/EC levels and organic, it doesn't seem to matter unfortunately

Here is a picture of a branch from my mother plant. It looks like reveg but how is this possible when the light is on 18/6 ?

I'm 100% sure it's not a timer error! Anyone have an idea?

Have you tried running one plant in a non-hydro/non-chemical, amended soil-only medium?

When I see issues like this, it makes me wonder what straight organics will look like in same environment.

Of course, if your mothers are also experiencing issues, it could be a bigger problem.

Have you tested for HpLVd?
Unfortunately there is no possibility for HpLVd where I live.

I have 3 different mother plants, two from seed and one clone only. The clone is in my garden for 10+ years so I'm sure it's HpLVd free and I believe it's unlikely to get it from seeds.

The mother plants where fine before I turned on the co2!

It's far more likely to be some wonky genetics rather than CO2 somehow slowing growth
It also happened with my amnesia clone only grow and I wouldn't call that wonky genetics.

Yes I also tried organic soil grow, it seems to effect them a tiny bit less but still not how it should be

Did you ever figure it out?
