I figured i'd review this product for anyone thinking of getting it. I have a 3x3x7 tent with 9 plants in it, which i do 4-5 times a year. I've tried various carbon filters but i always seem to get a smell- i tend to grow some real stinky strains. So i figured i'd try an ozone generator to try and control the smell. BTW, the tent is in my garage, but when the plants are at their stinkyist they can be smelled in the house and outside the garage door. So i get this big blue ozone gen and hook it up like this....600 watt light cool tube-big blue-4 inch inline fan- exit out the tent. Within 5 minutes there was no more stinky smell, but the ozone was overwhelming!!! So i put it on a timer- 5 min on, 15 off and that did the trick. During the 5 min on cycle the ozone can be smelled, but its not overwhelming and the 15 off cycle the remaining ozone seems to eliminate the stink. This is a good product, i do recommend for those who just cant seem to control odor, but i'd be careful with the ozone and put it on some kind of timer.

thanks

Glad to hear it's working for you!! I tried the Uvonair1000 with no luck at all and also final exhaust out through a Can50.....still getting the 'green' smell at time now in heavy flower----so I just brought home a BigBlue 8" x 20" to add to the mix. Trying to decide how/where to put it---thinking on the final exit duct.

Doesn't that model you have have the 3 bulbs? I know this one I just got has three bulbs, ballasts, switches..... I am hoping to maybe only needing to run one or two if the o3 smell is too much, instead of a recycle-timer.

So is it still doing you justice? Anything you'd have done different??

Thanks!

Isn't Ozone bad for you and your plants?? I remember reading this when making a telsa coil in college, which can also produce ozone. Pretty sure I read it corrodes lung tissue and even breathing in a concentration too weak to smell can be unhealthy.

food for thought.
