Rippers..Fess up, ever do it? Are there rules of etiquite? Should we make some?

I got ripped this year for 3 veg plants, I had to laugh it off.

First I was the dumb fuck who left them on my porch in plain site, secondly they left 10 fully mature ones alone which were 10 feet away


{Edit} What really pissed me off was they not only took the plants but actually took my fucking pots and the soil....the whole kit and caboodle

That actually brings up a good means to deter rippers, which I used once for one fisherman who liked to get high apparently(lol). You put in a few dummy plants(bag seed)for the ripper, then the good ones about 50 feet or so back.

I had someone hop in my yard while i was sleeping (my fault i guess for resting) and they took some branches off a visible plant prob gonna try to come back when its actually ready goin on Da Vinci sleep now...

Ahhh, okay. That's not a booby trap in my book. Admittedly there's not a better term that comes to mind. When I think "booby trap", I think main/kill. To be fair though, I'm coming from a military terminology. In that case, apologies for not trying to clarify. Damn you, semantics!!!

So let me ask you this, you're in Cali so I'm assuming you're doing a legal grow. If a grower were to booby trap in a non-legal state, even on your own property it can result in aggravated cultivation charges.

But what about legal med grows?. Since some states make you fence off growing areas, is it permitted to protect your own property within reason?. Or is this one of those gray areas.

this thread is just another slap in the face to whoever lost their plants to rippers this year.
