For those of you that have been following along, thank you for all of the input and for voting.

For those of you just now joining and/or voting. I started this list with 20 suggestions from members of RIU for my next grow. I then cut the list in 1/2 as sort of my "input" in the selection process.

Round 1 of voting was on the top 10 strains. The bottom five have been eliminated and we will have voting for 24 hours to determine the Top 3 that will go on to final round. After that it's on to the Final around and the top Strain will be ordered immediately.

There won't be any hesitation in getting this started and hopefully it won't end up a disapointment. All of these strains seem like strong candidates...let's get it on....

I voted for the only strain on the list I have any experience with - jillybean. I'm not even done flowering my first run but it is fire for sure. I'm growing three of sub's strains for the first time right now and they're definitely the biz. Week 6 flower right now and they stink more than anything else I've grown. I got two jillybean females, one is super stretchy but the other is quite manageable and has a very acrid kushy type smell. Should be a real lung collapser. Really looking forward to it. That Bubba Kush sounds good too though. I have a BK hybrid from Cannacopia I've been growing for a long time now and it's probably my all time favorite smoke. Never get tired of it.

My chick recently lost her job so I'm thinking about expanding things a bit. I've always grown just for my own smoke, but I'm strongly considering investing a little money in a second tent, lights, and fans. That way all winter long I can get double the yeild and dump 1/2 off on the dispensary's.

If I do that and Bubba Kush makes it (This DEFINITELY not guaranteed) I will grow it side by side with Bubba Kush from the local dispensary as a comparison.

That's not a likely a scenario I must say. The cashflow to complete that is obviously an issue. If I can think of a good way to do it by adding minimal fans and not a second carbon filter I'll probably pull the trigger.

Much different looking race from the start with the narrowing of the selection. I think this is going to heat up throughout the day!

looks like people just pick what ever strain you put on the top...
Man, I wondered how much that had an effect on the FI getting such a high rating last time. That's why I moved them around.

I would hate to think that I'm growing a strain for that reason alone. Could be a coincidence though and alot of people who voted for the bottom 5 things could just be going anti-FI now and picking the Jilly Bean. Almost halfway through the voting period and I'm a little surprised how weak the Bubba Kush is doing after such a strong showing in Round 1.

.

I'm voting based on what I want to see info on ... I've got Jilly Bean in flower so that's out ... Dairy Queen for sure .... I've wanted to grow Doc's Bubba Kush for years ... I'm more interested in Fucking Incredible than Pineapple Express so I'd like to see your grow and smoke report on that too. There's my three.

Just thought I would throw you one friend, even though you have your selection narrowed, you may want to give this one a try sometime.

I have tried not all, but most of what you hear mentioned most on this and other forums and my last grow, I grew a Strain called " Carnival " from ministryofcannabis and I harvested it and cured it and the smoke and high were the craziest thing I have ever smoked.

Great yielder and I have no doubt about the 23% THC rating, as I have grown and had plenty of the big known strains and this one put me down on the fourth toke and I medicate every day.....not for the faint hearted.

If you grow it organically especially and use molasses, the smell is outrageously sweet and exotic.

I grew out five different Phenos and all of them were mind blowers and I am currently growing it once more and probably will settle for this strain as a permanent, because it really is that good and I have yet to try anything comparible, besides some bagseed that I and some others have lucked up on at times.

As far as a strain from europe....this one is allot of fun, in more ways than one.

Had one very seasoned smoker of 25yrs, quit on the third hit and said; " No more of that right now!! "...LOL.

Be Blessed and Good Luck Friend,

If it wins I will do everything that I can to get them. If I can't get the first place winners seeds in one week of searching I will grow the #2 vote getter from the finals. I will then continue the pursuit for the #1 seed and I will start a batch of those soon after. If I don't add the second tent right away this grow I certainly will be in the very near future.

5 pheno's of one strain??? either your OCD and notice every subtle difference in your plants or you have the fresshest unstabilized genes on the market. most strains shoot for 2 pheno's after being stabilized... i dunno

No, I just notice subtlties my friend, as far as taste and potentcy and growth rates ect.

No, I have never grown lets say " white widow " that tasted like " Master Kush ", but I have seen one Master Kush not taste exactly or grow exactly the way the one next to it, grew for one example of many.

Sure did not want to jump in on the gentlemens post after decisions have been made, but the Starin I mentioned is truly one of those great Strains, that more need to try.

Blessings,
