Respect is earned at a personal level..one on one..I don't respect fireman because they are fireman, I don't respect doctors because they are doctors, I don't respect teachers because they are teachers. All those occupations are admirable..but don't garner respect because of the position. The majority of military members I've encountered are bloodthirsty, racist A holes who have no concept of constitutional rights or law and think we should carpet bomb half the planet ( and felow Americans) because they don't agree with THEIR American ideals...so ya F em.
