oh not at all! You can even add some soap to your soil if it starts turning to mud. I just would like to mention that it should NOT have any detergent in it as this WILL fuck a plant up. Also, spray a bit in a area to see if the plant reacts badly to it. mine didn't so I ended up spraying it all over and cut the mite problem down to nearly %10. Also recommended to spray ever 5-6 day's as this is when the the egg's hatch. The soap and water won't hurt the plant?
And i will soon enough, almost done my cab!
Yes mites are a pain in the neck to get rid of! I had them infect my plant from the soil or nearby raspberry patch. This summer I will be properly armed to the teeth and will do my best to prevent any bug issues. The issues I had were spider mites and caterpillars. Which reminds me, I need to research on preventative measures!I agree fully with BSD, in my very limited experience with mites I believe they build a resistance quickly. I am currently alternating between 3 products. One is a chilli and garlic spray (2 litres water, 12 small chilli's and four cloves of garlic, some cinnamon powder and a drop of dish soap, simmer in pot 20m and strain) A broad spectrum product containing Thiamethoxam and an oil based product. Best of luck
Well i definitely want to try a few things, currently I'm only spraying them with SNS 217. It works but only for a few days, the spray smells so strong... I'm gonna have to up my game and try the soap and the chili spray!
Thanks for the help guys!
