Rso out of blasted material?

Hi everyone. I am curious as to if i can use my high quality herb (that has already been blasted for BHO) to make RSO (Rick Simpson Oil). This would be for personal use of course. I really really enjoy making my medibles with RSO over any other cannabis extraction.

In theory and please correct me if wrong this is why i am here asking….in theory wouldn't the solvent (butane) evaporate during the process of boiling the IPA or NAPTHA off…….

Thank you very much

and if nobody is able to respond , i am going to go ahead and do it and i will take it down to the labs and get it tested as well for potency and residuals. i am very very curious…. Thank you One love

I can't answer this with any authority, but I am curious about the answer (thanks for asking). I was thinking of doing this with the trim from my next harvest. My guess is you are right, that the butane will evaporate off with whatever solvent you use to make the RSO. Again, I am only guessing and there could be an additional step etc to ensure it burns off.

I agree. I will use the rule of thumb 'low and slow" and watch it carefully for bubbles and to see if can watch as much as possible evaporate. give me a week and i will post the results of what is to come. it all a variety of high quality sugar trim and high quality buds too. has all been blasted but i did not re-blast and have been collecting all of it to make oil. We shall see! Thank you for your reply though
