Running LED's of Differing Voltage on a Single Power Supply

After multiple searches on RIU and the web, I need to call upon your help since I can't find answers. How do I run LED's of differing voltage on a single power supply?

I understand that I need to add LED voltages in series together to calculate the voltage needed from a power supply. Do I do the same thing even if they have different voltage requirements?

For instance, I would like to use some powerful 660nm LEDs (currently looking at LEDEngin's) in conjunction with some as of yet undetermined white or blue. The red LEDengin runs at 700mA and 10.5V. If I run a cxb3590 at 700mA and 36V in series with that red, will the red be over driven or the cob under driven? How does that work? I welcome responses, links to other threads on this topic (I tried to find some!), or web links.
