my memory was a little off but they come in around 160-170 lm/w at lower current and min voltage.

here's the calculator for anyone interested.
This calc is GREAT. i know babybud gave it to me once but its so much easier to understand now.
Now instead of just looking at data sheets , i can enter my values in an boom i got my lm/w.
I just used it to figure im getting slightly better lm/w with the L04's vs the h series at the current im running. If you go by the data sheet only then the H series is much higher lm/w but when you do the actual math on your setup then you may be surprised by the results. I sure am.

Thanks again reggea

Just my two cents. If your comparing to HPS or other HID lighting then 120 lm/w pointing directly at your plants is probably way more efficient then a 150 lm/w round bulb with most of the light being reflected back down to the plants.

Im a hps guy and the results are not in yet but im beyond sold on them for all reasons. Very versatile. From two strips on my ceiling at 30watts for extra light to full blown flower lights and everything in between.

After setting to 20W per strip, the H series is 175lm/W compared to 161lm/W for the influx L09. Nice calculator. Interesting. Much closer efficiency than I expected.
I think the influx Linears are made for industrial usage in factories/gyms etc as t5/t8 replacements. that must be why test wattage is set to the max. pretty sure they are lm301A so at comparable wattage I think these wind up being more efficient than F strips at least series 2 not sure about 3 (those have more diodes i think).

Just so you guys know, I keep buying strips every time you post them haha. So the gen 3 f strips are 144 diode and the gen 2 are 96? Why does arrow have to list 96 diode strips as a single diode.. I’m still looking for some 3k strips to go with my current f strips and the 3500k L09’s I grabbed. If I’m going to be convinced to put the hps away this summer, I need 1k plus watts of led. @ilovereggae, have you checked out any car audio wiring for narrow bus bars? They would be gold plated screw style, about 8-10mm wide.

So far with my research , you wont need a full 1k watts but it damn sure dont hurt to have it on hand! i got 1200 watts easily replacing 2k with a better spread but im not done with my testing and full reviews/opinions.

I want to be able to have the power of 2000 watts of double ended hids, but I know it’s not as simple as 2 types of strips. I’m just baby stepping so for now, led is supplemental, some of those 3500k strips are going in my basements 2x4 florescent box lights, unrelated to growing :D Otherwise I might double up my build and do 40-50 strip rack and grab some far red and uv stuff, not even going there anytime soon...

Im sure you already know all this, im just rambling. i love this led hobby....
In my opinion , its as simple as one type of strip but your lacking a LOT of IR the hps would put out. 2700k is closest to most of the hps spectrums and about 4k for MH bulbs. So to me a 3500k strip would do both but i think the plant would like a mix of kelvins. I doubt there is much or any proof of that.
As far as UVA/B , far reds, deep reds, ect... i have no clue. but to replace the simple spectrum and power of a hps , a simple single color strip build would do.

It will be a project for sure, my hps is 2100k, I would source all the uv and far red stuff to add in, if I knew what to get I would even buy diodes and pcb. Might even go 648 diablos or something too. Lots of reading to do. I’m happy to have some led now and have no issues running my 1k de. Other option is going led and supplemental cmh.

my first update on my first all led grow: (5x10 tent with 2xA8's) The size is amazing! 4 weeks after the flip and im seeing "done size" flowers. At first i was chalking it up to the more mature plants then im used to but not any more.....the leds are making my flowers seeably bigger. Im on a fairly strict diet with these girls.....pretty strict environment and i run a lot.... i got plenty of HPS to compare. Im 100% its the leds making them bigger.

Im not the best guy to run test as i only get .5 g/w anyway but i can see clearly that the leds are doing way better then my hps. The spread is unbelieveable. The darkest corner is prolly 7-800 ppf.

EDIT: Just for the record , im using lm301h 3000k with only 630nm added. (about 2100 diodes total)

2100 diodes running how many watts?

2100 diodes total over the whole spread?

My bad. I just seen the “2 A8” part.
