Anyone know why delta drivers were pulled from arrow? Been watching for few weeks but they haven’t made any available again.
been wondering the same thing. they show a bunch of new models as being available (but not in stock yet) so wondering if they are just purging inventory or something. glad i stocked up when I did although I hope there isn't some issue with them.

So far, so good, for me. About 3 months in and no problems from about 20 drivers in use, at 90% load.

They don't have any rated life span, but the MTBF (mean time before failure) of 700k hours means it should probably last at least as long as Mean Well XLG or HLG, which have the same. The drivers look like they were meant to compete with HLG.

The q series 3000k is cheaper at arrow right now. 3000k 2' only

According to this calculator even if you ran this at minimum current .138A @ 25C you will still only get 193 lm/w, which is at only 535 lm. You would need to run 5 of these to match the lumens of one modern strip.

Even at their low price these are not viable compared to say a Bridelux EB gen2 or 3. Their is a reason these are so cheap.
So where is the modern strips at a decent price ? 193lm/w for under a buck cant be beat. pricewise*

Deals are always there, prices change sometimes multiple times a day. you must just have bad luck w timing. I've gotten the sale price on L04/L09 and V strips multiple times now over last 6 mons, most recently at end of January. Found some 30W Samsung Drivers for those V strips for $2 each. Also I got 10 ERP 40W drivers for $3 each the week before.

And I still look a few times a week for delta drivers, think it’s a thing of the past at arrow.

what current are u running them at to get that efficiency? I was gonna do like 500-650ma. thought that got them around 170 lm/w but maybe I plugged data in wrong. what color temp? I have a bunch of both 3500 + 5000k
no clue where i got that number from ....i just came up with 170....maybe i was talking about the h series. i know they are way better efficiancy.

I am trying to decide on what to build my rig with. I like the idea of the Q series with more boards, but the F has the ass behind it. Do you need to run the Q with heatsinks if you dont push them over 450ma?

EB gen 3 4ft are hard to beat for $/watt and efficiency. They are 10.60 Canadian on Digi-Key 186lm/w

Digi-Key had the Seoul Semiconductor 4ft 195lm/w strips for under $10 as well.
yea i guess you are right....hard to beat that price for those diodes but at the beginning of the thread we were paying less then 2 bucks a strip for the lm561c's. Im getting over 200lm/w with those.

4ft for 10 bucks is a great deal!

Thanks guys....links would be appreciated.

Probably not needed but will help your setup to last longer.

I could never understand how people were getting 200lm/w with the shitty influx strips. I used the Samsung enginee calculator and could not get anything over 170lm/w and it was taking a looooot of strips and kind of made the wiring not worth it

No i was referring to the newer models at that price. H series is one im using. Influx is just the cheap go to for veg lights. (170lm/w is DAMN good for the price.)

holy crap! thats expensive. the lm561c will hang with or match the that bridgelux in efficiency for 1/10 of the price literally.

I am not sure how. Anytime I've configured the Samsung's to be as efficient you need to buy enough strips and it cancels out the price diff.

It cost me about $550 (heatsink, strips, drivers, wiring, cables, boxes, everything) to build a 750W light using eb gen 3 strips (6600+ diodes per fixture). Any time I've priced out a Samsung strip build with similar efficiency the price is the same. Maybe more and has more wiring. The strips cost $280 for the eb gen 3 in my build. So at 1/10th of the cost where can I buy enough Samsung strips at that efficiency for $28? I don't know what I am missing here.

ARROW two or 3 months ago! Thats what im saying. Look at the thread. the deals are trully too good to be true. yes for 28 bucks you would of snatched up enough to match or beat your efficiency.
My most recent build was just over 100 bucks for 660 watts. That one was a bit older only coming in at about 170lm/w. Now for that price i CANNOT say that its better then your fixture or even a match in quality but the efficiency is there.
