Yeah the tariffs are high, Import fees basically. Some other strips are tariff free but mostly weak ones. Still can't believe 60% - shit is ridiculous

Do you know another alternative for the driver?

Meanwell is pretty expensive and I was looking for another similar but more cheap ...
Delta has quality products also these have been working well LWA400-V048-ERK
AUTEC POWER SYSTEMS. 400watts for $28. Not sure if the price today. I'd look for anything that has a warranty. Meanwell s are 7 years I believe, these autec are 5 yr .

Ang special voltage or a y detail that are important?
You'll need to get a separate driver if your going to add the colors. Meanwell has 700-1400mA constant current drivers for around $15 that work well with them. Those you can get on Amazon. MEAN WELL APC-35-700 AC to DC Power Supply Enclosed LED Driver Single Output 15-50VDC @ 700mA, 35 Watt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FRBNJ3M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_1QWW2T005HTMFDGKHFK2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Usually I'll run 6-8 Crees off one of these in parallel but can be run in series also . I'd for sure get a watt meter if your diving into this.. right wire ect ect. Shoot me a PM if you need some more help. A lot of info/people here as well.:joint:

Hello brothers I come back with another weak question :wall::confused:

I dont find thermal tape where I leave...only thermal paste.

the question is: which thermal paste is the best choice and how can I “fix” my leds to my heatsink without using screws?

There are termal paste with glue innit but they dont have the same efficiency that the normal termal paste

Make sure it is actual glue and not just thermal compound that helps bridge gaps between things and their heatsinks.
Can also check suppliers like digikey etc...

If you can find 3M self adhesive tape it will work about the same as thermal tape. Best is to drill and screw the strips to the sink, many plastic/fr4 strips tend to bend and not stick great to tape.

Something very similar, but self adhesive tape that cheap is not going to do a great job. Tried 3 different tapes (all cheapos) on the last build and not one would get the strips on to the sinks right. The 3M i used that worked fine was about a tenner or so.
Maybe one of these 2?
