Personally, I wouldn't grow a pure Sativa indoors. They require a LOT of headroom, take a LONG time (3 to 4 MONTHS) to mature, and will get BIG. Forget tents (maybe a big closet), and the cost of lighting, plus the juggling if you are growing a few plants, makes a pure Sativa, a pure pain in the ass to grow indoors, even in a basement. Good smoke, probably (definitely?) the best out there, but go for a 70 or 60% Sativa/Indica mix (Jack Herer), and that's close enough in my opinion, if growing indoors.
