SSI deductions are separate from regular income taxes and if they had listened to Gore (just threw up a little in my mouth) and created a lockbox instead of raiding SS for pet projects we'd be in much better shape.
This tax break was cutting our SSI contribution in half. Our employers match our contribution so their part was also cut in half. What this "tax break" has done is give major companies a huge break while loaning us some of our money back until those revenues have to be replaced. So loaning me some of my own money and making me pay it back with interest PLUS cover for the major corporations part of the contribution is a long term loser.
Doesn't matter though, Obama did it so it's awesome!! Why didn't he cut my individual contribution instead? Why is he taking our money and giving it the evil corporations only for us to pay back later?
How does that make you feel Buck knowing that he basically loaned us our own money for a little while but we'll have to pay back double plus interest? Have you thought it out?

maybe it was the part where he said if you were brought here illegally by no fault of your own as a child, we'll let you stay if you behave?
was it the part where he spoke out in favor of marriage equality the day after electoral-vote rich north carolina went the other way?

last time I checked the 99% are still protesting and haven't had one of their cries answered.

I'm worried about social securities future. I would appreciate a tax break but an SSI contribution deduction is a loan not a break. A loan with over 100% interest attached to it because the corps also got that break and I doubt seriously they help pay it back. Why did it come for SSI instead of the regular tax rolls?
Has my logic lost anyone because I know I'm not explaining this as well as could be?

believe it or not, most people aren't fucking crazy loons. I see occasional Mitt Romney bumper stickers speed past me recklessly and occasionally I see an Obama one driving recklessly slower than all the other traffic. It is rare however, I only see these because I drive thousands of miles per week.

Love tax breaks, no matter where they come from, I've only voted dem or other for prez, never pub so there goes that argument. And your answer should have been money is fungible if you want to argue it's a tax break and not a social security loan.
Come on Buck, I was hoping for an intelligent explanation why doing it through SSI is better than through regular income taxes, or the same, or something.

no its because 1% have all the wealth..so what are the reasons for this? Corporatism ...things like Citizens United...has nothing to do with women equality...women are the what 60%?
Obama hasn't addressed this at all, hes done the exact opposite, corporations are more involved in politics than ever before.
Why would a 99%'er vote for Obama or have a bumper sticker for Obama? unless she thought the 99% bumper sticker was supposed to mean she opposed the 99%, then that would make complete sense.
Maybe at one point in between the two bumper stickers was a sticker that just read "fuck the"...(so vote obama/biden 2012 fuck the 99%)
