Recently ran across a Lagavulin 11 year aged in Guinness casks. Was really impressed( Usually I grab the 16 year which is freaking awesome) Will pick up one of these again for sure. Highly recommend. Great for an 11 year.
Is that the same as: Lagavulin Offerman Edition? One of the two Scotch's I picked up because the reviews were so good. The other was a Laphroaig Cask Strength 10 Yr.

Because I live in Colorado, I'm very curious about the effects of altitude on the entire process of winemaking, brewing beer and the production and aging of spirits. I look forward to hearing more results from these altitude experiments.
