want to do a double sea of green this time around grow area is 58inx35in figured i could fit about 40 in there in one gal pots under a 1000 watt h.p.s then switch em out for another set of 40 every 12 hours never did s.o.g before but what kinda yield could I expect from each plant (know its pretty strain dependent but any ?'s)and would that be to crowded?

How are you going to move 40 plants that are all connected to a screen..
sea of green, not screen. that does sound pretty hectic though. it sounds near impossible to move 40 plants every 12 hours with out getting mad hermies.

Sounds too crowded , yes.
Probably 1/2 that.

But moving a plant causes hermies?
LOL.
I highly doubt moving a plant will change its sex.

Plants in nature get blown around, stepped on, eaten by deer, etc.

was thinking it might not be to bad since they'll be in one gallon growbags and flowered after i veg the clones for a week was hoping to get at least 14g's a plant is that a good goal min. to go for since they'll be some what crowed but it is sog

depending on what stain, i would say 7-14 grams a plant veg from clone for 1 week in soil.

this does not seem like a lot, but if you have clones ready to replace the flowering plants then you are doing good.

check out my grow in my sig. im trying to do the same thing but harvesting 10 plants every 2 weeks....its not that consistent with different strains though. my sativa clones are nice for weight, 52 grams wet..18-20 grams dry. my indicas are less but more dense and that couch lock that most like...:blsmoke:

to move 40 plants out of one room and into another, then move another 40 plants out into the grow room would take like an hour if not longer. during 12/12 any light penetration when its supposed to be dark can cause the plant to herm. constant stress (moving a plant every day from room to room for the span of its life) is constant stress and can make plants herm. most plants grown out in nature are the plants that some mexican smuggles up his ass and is more seed than bud. plants that get blown around stepped on and eaten by deer probably aren't any better than mexican ass weed either. but you can go ahead and smoke that if you want. ill stick to my sensi weed thats not moved everyday in a room that is completely light proof.

takes like five minutes to move these aren't huge plants and ten can be moved at once in there drain trays and a room that is completely light proof is obvious lol

i would say even more then an ounce a plant i just finished my 1st grow which was a sea we had 25 plants in a 5x8.5 system and avg about 45-50 grams a plant.

A table with casters would make things very easy if your able to move something that large in and out of your main grow area. and if want to go further you could build a frame around the table to cover it with say black poly so the plants have less of a chance of being stressed when moved. Sounds like a productive idea for limited flowering space. and you're doing soil correct?

i found it easier to move my light. i hung it on a big ass hanger and would drag its ducting around from closet to closet so i could do double the girlies. why move all the ladies?

if they are true XX females, then you can move them all you want, they are incapable of hermetic characteristics.

if not, you can still move them, and if you can do it in five minutes, your gonna be just fine, great idea for an increased harvest. gets me thinking. nah, i dont need that much pot! ha ha.

LOL.... had 2nd generation clones in the back of a hot ass van for two hours.... got pounds off em, :). Five minutes, your full of shit. Just make sure the pots at evenly moist when you move them and all will be well, and treat them like your baby....
