I have - how did you guess haha. My first harvest I wet trimmed and this time I went with dry. Liked the results from dry trimming better, but wow am I inefficient at it. I need lots of practise! But if I can keep pulling crops like this, hopefully I can increase my skill and speed.

Dude! Im very impressed. You're ok! that looks wet trimmed (pre dried). Wet trim is easier...trimming dry is painful for everyone. But IMO, dry trim cures to a much better smooth taste. You're on the right track. Stay strong!

Thanks! It really seems to have smoothed things over. I couldn’t resist a coupe joints of pre-cured and I have 4/4 smooth and terpy smoke and white ashes before the cure even. Didn’t expect that and can’t wait to see what nuances develop in my cure!

Your a weed-stylist...nice cut! Lol. Don't be discouraged when your numbers drop from expectations, as you've set them high for yourself ...sometimes we get it perfect for the grow.

Yeah I’m not expecting anything really. 20 oz is a lot more than I really need haha so it’s all a bonus now anyway

My first harvest was 16oz pretty damn bang on and this time >20 - so I’m hopeful that I can keep things swinging fairly well at least. Not under the impression I’ll hit a 2 lb harvest in 16 sqft with 4 seeds at a time and roll of the dice for phenotypes either but damn I am having fun with it and learning a lot.

The smoke is unreal too, way better than I thought I could hit on my first or second grow. So many amazing resources these days for noobs make it possible to break right into a decent crop. I must have read a thousand hours of growing information online before I made it to the first jars.

Not bad looking for early bud. In the future, try letting one go a few weeks longer, you won't regret it.
I was gonna say the same thing. They would've looked much nicer in a few more weeks. I just didn't want to be a Debbie Downer, lol.

Yes I was looking at calyx and not sugar leaf and no it’s not a very good camera lol. Really didn’t think these were chopped early so thanks man. It was 5% amber on everything but “the best” which popped nanners in week 8 and was harvested immediately as a result.

I’ve been planning to have a plant at some point in the future to harvest in stages and see what is really my preference for ambers. So try to yank a branch each 5% or so as they mature.

appreciate the feedback!

This plant was still not ready to chop but you can see the swollen calyxes.

So much of the yield and potency comes at the end, so never chop early.

Also, look at trichomes on the calyxes, not the sugar leaves.

I always call 'em like I see 'em. I think thats more helpful than just nodding and praising.
I do too actually. It was more an old Saturday Night Live joke I was making than anything. That's why I added the lol, so people wouldn't get confused. I have a kinda a messed up sense of humor.

Same here man on my first grow and it’s going great, in flower at the moment but I’m estimating at least 3oz per plant, got 4 going at the moment. Did countless hours of reading and research before going ahead
