Im starting my second grow the first was going great until my electric bill went way up because of the lights and the police came and arrested me. Anyway to avoid this from happening again i am trying to grow outside. I'm very new at growing cannabis so i know very little. So what happened is i germinated the seeds and planted them but when the first one came up the seed is on top of it. Is that normal? If not can i do anything about it? If so what can i do? Thanks for any answers you might have.:peace:
 
just take the shell of the seed off the lil bastard it'll be fine, but do it gently, dont like rip the damn off....and uhh good luck with police this time....great thing about sun is ITS FREE!!! pretty damn hard to start outdoors if u dont know what ur doin......some ppl will come thru here and tell u how hard or easy it is.....good luck
 
Damn, how many lights were running m8? I've only heard of that happening in extreme cases. Must of had a hell of a set up, lol.
 
Haha, dude, your electricity didn't get you busted, one of my lights uses more power in a month than your whole set up would have used for your whole cycle.

What they are saying about neem is to get something to control pests if your outdoor.
 
u were def stealing electric if it was electric or selling other things or it was a snitch or an informant of some sort......4 CFLS LOL.....i run a 1000w a 600w a 400w and three T5's, and on top of that a 400CFM inline, and a 14,000 BTU AC/HEAT portable unit for temp control.......4 CFL's hahahahaha def not electric

20 CFLs, but you are correct, it wasn't the electric bill that got him busted.
 
20 x 65 watts = 1300 watt of CFL's + fans, is a fair draw but not enough for the police to obtain a search warrant

what were ur charges, now im interested and what exactly did they have? Did they have a warrant? Did you ever get to see the discovery file? What did you plea? What were the consequences? Im not trying to validate or debunk ur story im just naturally curious now bc im going to be taking the bar soon, and i could tell you what u did wrong and if the police followed protocol......living in Mississippi doesnt help i bet either.

Guessing they were 65w equivalent, but I don't know. Mr Hyde has it right I believe.

ETA: Lives in Mississippi. Which is pretty much the same as the places you mentioned. :)

Two officers came to my house and said they needed to search my house and they told me if i didnt let them they would arrest me i didnt think they could just do that so i refused and when i did they put me in handcuffs and searched my house anyway. My charges were cultivation of marijuana and possession. The possession was a misdemeanor and i was charged with a fine of $100 for 27 grams (that i bought for myself) as for growing i got three years but got out on parole after only 6 months for good behavior i got out 2 weeks ago
