Try the paper towel between two plates method, just make sure you keeps them moist always and Im sure you will have no problems......mine went 5 for 5.im curently trying to find a good method to use as i only have 5 seeds and i dont have the money to get any more
does nebody hsve any good ideas that a noob like me could get realy good ressults from
I use a similar method. I take 2 paper towels and get them wet, wring them out best as possible( so they're still wet but dripping. Line my seeds about an inch apart diagonally across middle of paper towels. Then gently roll up the paper towel around your seeds. Meanwhile take a glass jar or cup with about 1/2-1 oz of water in the bottom. Stand your paper towel with seeds in it upright so only the bottom 1/2" or so is submerged in the water. Put in a dark cool place, and in about 3-5 days you'll have some nice cracked seeds about 1"+ long sprouts. Hasn't failed me yet....I actually left one long enough that it had almost started to grow in the paper towel.I do another method i found on here, with my own twist. Take a mason jar and 2 paper towels..put beans in one towel, fold down to a 2x2" square, soak square. add 1 inch of water to mason jar, use 2nd paper towel to "hang" the square halfway in the jar, with the top hanging over the edge of the jar, use the top (without the middle, just the rim cap so it can all breathe) to hold the paper towel on. Let it sit for 72 hours in a dark place. When you open the square you will have seeds that have popped with roots sometimes over an inch long, making it easy to plant and quick to pop soil.
Ive waited as long as 7 days and gotten some beans popping lat late. Patience is always the key in this business.
They don't need to be overly warm just in the complete dark, overlap the paper towel between the plates to act as a gasket. Its really simple, use 2 towels for top and two underneath the seeds keeping them apart by an inch or so, just make sure the towels are wet but not completely saturated. Checked on mine after 24 hrs and had the one sprout, re wet the towels and the rest shortly followed. There are plenty of different methods and Im not saying this is the best way but its very simple and it worked for this first timer. DO NOT LET THEM DRY OUTcanbud - i kno you got to keep them worm wile they are in the papertowkes i dont have access to my water heater as it is inside a seald wall like u gotta unscrew it to get in and out and dont want to go thru all that when i want to check them you have ne sugestions as to where i can put t
