I think he should just grow in a good potting soil like fox farm until he learns more. I still don’t even know or understand hydro and other means of growing. Day 20 on mine

I killed everything in soil and still do. I only made it through my first grow because it was in NFT rails and I followed a hydroponic tomato book. So what might be easier for you is lost on me :lol:

Of course you could move the lights further away. Bit of a guessing game if you're new. Bit of a waste of flowering space when you could be veging in a closet with a t-5 and flowering in a tent. It's why I only asked "why not".

Dirt is by far one of the more forgiving mediums. You def can get amazing results with other mediums like Coco but until you know it results are blah. Just grow a few in dirt and take some clones to learn Coco with. Stick around, ignore the bullshit and we'll all be following you soon enough.
