Think the pH balancer was fucking with them. Cuz this is the first time I've used it. Doing some research and I guess my dumbass should have read the label,,, general HYDROPONICS. lol

ph up/down, a little goes a long way. 15ml in a 50 gallon resevoir will bump my PH 1 full point.
What is your PH before you add nutrients? How about after you add nutriets?
What soil are you using?
Do you have a ppm/tds meter?
Are you on a well or city water?
I think you may be overthinking this.

I measure it and test before feeding, but I'm seeing that I shouldn't have used it in soil. Thoughts?

Forget about what Fox Farms says for seedlings. Those seedlings didn't need to be fed anything. There is enough nutrients in that Black Gold soil to carry them for a few weeks. All they needed was plain old tap water straight from the tap and not even pH'd. I've used that soil often for starting seedlings and all I do is give them plain water straight from the tap. Don't be in a hurry to start dumping stuff on your plants.

You can use pH up or down when feeding plants growing in soil. But you need to wait until the plants are big enough to where you need to start feeding them. You shouldn't be testing or feeding anything for seedlings like that. Too many people think that the more you feed the faster the plants will grow. That's not the case. Too much feeding can and will have detrimental effects. In your case it fried your seedlings. It sucks and I feel bad for you but remember this lesson for the future.

Gotcha, my nutes are sitting everywhere lol, but I usually don't untill veg. Just this seedling issue was a first,AND pH down is a new thing for me. Used it on my last grow and the entire plant looked like that, and I blamed IT on bad genetics cause they were OLD bag seeds. A plant before THAT was great, used no pH down

Well I'm 99% sure it was the pH down, thanks for the reply/advice folks! The next batch is doing "good" for 8 days old I think. I'll post pics soon.
