Baddnews has turned out to be one of my faves lately. Great prices and I’ve had some great plants. Just got the Corey Haim x gg4ril for cheap, regs, but I had a couple of his chimera crosses do well.

Crop King is not a breeder. They are a seed bank with over 700 strains. When you buy from a breeder you support someone who has a direct stake in every seed they sell, because they alone are responsible for the quality of the product. Many breeders go on to use 3rd party sources so they can focus on breeding and growing, but many large seed banks can be problematic about selling old seeds and even mislabeling genetics.
 
I work with a guy who grows crop king. He had some flowers tested and it came back with only delta 8 thc and no delta 9 thc. From the quick search I did it sounds like crop king is selling hemp seeds and calling them cannabis. Not even the true species of plant they are advertising, let alone the true genetic lineage.

I have a friend who grew some decent weed from Crop King, my issue was that a couple of his strains seemed to be way different than their descriptions!

My buddy has been growing their gelato for years. It is consistently some of the worst weed I’ve ever come across. I’ve seen his grow though and the plants are very happy and they yield super well. The genetics are just whatever garbage seeds they have growing in the field or greenhouse. There is no possible way they have any of the clones they claim. There’s pictures of the clones they claim to have all over the internet and anyone should be able to see they aren’t the real deal.
Honestly I’m shocked and super disappointed that there is still anyone spending money on that nonsense.
 
I buy direct from the breeder if I can, DBJ if I can't...if they aren't there...I get something else.
I ran Tony Greens stuff for like 6 years...I love Tony and he has access to a lot of fire and makes a lot of fire...now...I'm onto Shoreline Genetics and I love them too. Alot of fire there left to explore as well...I've grown many breeders over the years...started back in 1998 after I got out of the Military and left DOS. I grew BOG...it was my first purchased seeds...bought direct from BOG and Mrs. BOG sent them out...I was hooked!, Mota, Medic, Shanti, Silas, Copa, Bodhi, many friends from forums seeds...so many others I can't remember.

Wow! YOu got grow some classic genetics! Any particular standouts, strains or breeders? How do things compare these days, compared to 20 plus years ago?

They steal genetics or at least the names. Dynasty was pissed they took his moose and lobsta
