Seeds From Fridge Back To Dry Back To Fridge?

So I messed up. I have multiple seeds from multiple strains I have harvest drying out in a room. These were all harvested at different times. So I went to package up a GDPxMSG bunch of seeds that I had made to put them in the fridge for storage that have been drying for about 20-25 days. Well stupid me I packaged the seeds that were only drying for 7 days instead of the seeds that were drying for 25 days after chop and put them in the fridge. Well I noticed today 3 days later I put the wrong ones in the fridge. Ive never run into this problem before, I usually dry for 25 days after chop then in a sealed vial and in the fridge. Can I take these back out of the fridge and put them back out to dry for another couple weeks and put them back in the fridge or am I going to mess them all up? Either way I think they are too moist to be in the fridge now. Thanks guys

Try germinating a couple
You might be pleasantly surprised
I never remove them once refrigerated
I actually plant some of all of them after harvesting them from the bud just to see the germ rates. Usually 7 to 9 days dry at that point. Have planted 5 of 3 strains so far. Out of those three strains they have been planted today is the seventh day. So far only two have popped through the soil out of 15 after 7 days. No soak just from dried bud to dirt. One popped overnight and showed this morning, the other popped two days ago. Very slow on the germ.

Possibly harvested to early would be my guess
When I do a germination test I just use the paper towel method
Less waiting and wondering and in all likelihood I’m going to throw them away anyway

I just threw 5 more on a paper towel from the fridge to see.
The others I planted in soil thinking I was going to grow them out after the test otherwise I usually test on a paper towel. I need to get better at transplanting from sprouts on a paper towel to soil. I somehow manage to mess them up with my sausage fingers :bigjoint:

Just curious whats is your preferred method to harvest and cure seeds? I usually get 90-95% germ rate with my method. Some say let dry 2 weeks some say 3 weeks some say 2 months. Over time Ive found 25 days total from chop was my best results.

I don’t have a regime
My only credo is leave on plant a minimum of six weeks
By the time the weed is ready for harvest seeds are falling off and even sprouting in the mothers pot

After you pull them from the buds do you store or let them dry more?

Straight to the refrigerator
Thank you. So I think I should be ok then if I leave this batch in the fridge, but Ill see what the paper towel says in a couple to a few days.

Im wondering how the seed would react to coming out of the fridge, drying some more, then being put back in so Im going to do that to 10 or so and check their viability in the future compared to just left in the fridge.

I have popped seeds that I found in a camper that was probably outside for 9 years in midwest USA climate. All germinated. I think unless the seed is damaged or already was a dud you should be good.

Thank you. I actually have 10 old Skunk Classic By Flying Dutchmen in soil now. I cant get those seeds again so I hope they sprout as Flying Dutchmen is no more. The skunk classic are on 8 days today. I moved some dirt aside and the seed is still whole no sprout. Would you just leave them at this point or you think I should try and dig em out and put them in paper towel to try and save them?
