seeds missing leaves

so last night I go check my room about 1am right before lights go off , I have a bunch of seedlings started and they all looked good ..Go in the room today and I notice that 2 seedlings are gone ….so I get down a lil closer and see 2 stems that look healthy but on one the leaves are gone so I start thinking well the tops just dried up and died for some reason then I look close at the other one and both small leaves are green on top of the soil ….wtf you think a mouse got in ? we get a field mouse almost every winter but they don't stick around long when they smell the dogs if they do I always trap them but what really messes me up is why only 2 plants in the middle of my clone tent ? if it was a mouse he would have had to have walked across 20 or so solo cups to get to these 2 seeds and why didn't the mouse eat the rest ? maybe its not a mouse that's why i'm trying to see what everyone else thinks ...i'll go back in room and see if they are still in pots to take pic I don't remember if I dumped them or left in corner

lol no one gave me any answers so I put down a mouse trap didn't get anything for days had peanut butter on it so I figured well it left WRONG !!!!!

get home last night and everything is fucking mowed down , I was sick to my stomach so I take one seedling I had in a window I really didn't care about bring in my room and put on floor and circle that bitch with traps ….....BOOM!!!!!!!! 2 fucking field mice in the traps this morning ….SMFH ..I now gotta set traps around my heat runs on the wall they gotta be coming from basement thru floor where my radiant heat pipes come up ..THAT SUCKS I mean its gonna be a quick fix because that's prob all the mice I have but what a waste of seeds

I'd put out a bunch of traps, and then closer to the plants, lay down a full square of that very sticky one-sided glue mouse trap strips (for lack of remembering what they're called). If they wander past the traps, they'll get stuck on the glue strips.

You have to kill the mice by hand at that point (unless you let them die naturally but that's overly cruel), but unless they can jump 7-8 inches, your plants will be protected.

well i'm glad i'm not the only one thinking like that ...I set up 2 traps last night (filled both today) and while laying in bed last night I thought fuck it i'm building a wall of traps around my seeds just like u said lol im gonna get the big sticky ones for rats cause sometimes they get outta the small sticky mouse traps if they only have a foot in ...yea one was alive today I killed it even though the bitch ate my seeds I don't want to torture it

It would be shameful to torture a living creature, especially when all its doing is trying to survive. Maintain them in as humane a way as possible.

ahahahha! fuck em kill em all, i recently had rats or mice crawl up in my 2017 civic that i park on the street and eat the wires so im glad you did some damage control, im just coming up with a way to kill them all and not the neighborhood cats and other animals

True story my buddy drives bmw"s him and his wife brand new also brand new work truck and she has a new SUV so 4 new vehicles about 7 months ago something ate the wiring in his car week later his truck so about 2 months goes by he wakes up 3 vehicles won't run all chewed up wires so we thought squirls or mice so he got all these live traps nothing puts out a big live trap he caught a rabbit so he put up video cams in driveway next to cars holy fuck those rabbits had parties at night in his driveway you could see 1 then 2 then 4 fuck by time it was done probably had 20 plus rabbits jumping on tires getting in engine compartment lmfao not funny cost him about $9000
