Hey fellow potheads. I am seeking reliable knowledge regarding LED lighting.

With Cree I know the CXB3590 chips are the best to go with due to Higher efficiency than cxa chips. as for vero and citizen i dont know much and any info and experience with them you can share will be appreciated.
I am also familiar with the Growmau5 kits at cutter eletronics and I like this one https://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut2900 but they are on backorder till god knows when.
And i am familiar with Timber Grow lights with their prewired kits and framework units. still waiting to see if they fix their pictures to represent the actual items offered. as of writing this after contacting them a few weeks ago reguarding this as an example http://timbergrowlights.com/900-watt-vero29-v7-5x5-framework/ the picture shows a 12 cob layout of 4 wide by 3 deep but the description states 9 COB Bridgelux Vero29 V7. plus how efficient are the vero's to the cree im wondering. with a 900 watt framework the chips can be driven at 100 watts each where as cree has their best efficiency at 50 watts each with little gain above that for increased light, So are the veros at 100 wats per chip better than the cree at 50 watts? and lighting footprint the same or is one better than the other?

cxb3590 are the best cree chip but are kind of dated there are several vero, citizen, and luminus chips are more efficient and substantially cheaper

where as cree has their best efficiency at 50 watts each with little gain above that for increased light,
all chips are more efficient at lower currents, they all follow the same trend and dont really 'level off'

So are the veros at 100 wats per chip better than the cree at 50 watts?
depends which veros. the 36V vero7s are prob about the same, 50V veros a shade more efficient, and the 72V veros are about as efficient at 70W as a cxb3590 is at 50W

and lighting footprint the same or is one better than the other?
with bare chips they all radiate about the same and the biggest difference will be:
-#of cobs
-how hard you run them
-what reflector or lens options you use (if any)
