Sensi hash plant/Soma Somango/GreenHouse W. Widdow + 5 other strains - 1200 watt grow

OK.

I havent done a grow or grow journal in a while, about 3 years

Recently moved into new house and designated a peice to grow.

This grow is strictly for personal use and pure fun, not doing this for a cash crop, just want a nice variety of highest quality, best tasting, smoking, cured buds.

This will be a soil grow.

Since the idea came up to do this grow, Ive done extensive research on using LED, the bottom line is LED will not supply what HID will supply, regardless of what companies will claim, even the best will not compare to HID, YET. So check out below for my grow info, which will be starting very soon.

I will be constructing the room from scratch and posting pictures of each and every step of the process, from venting, grow room setup, seed to flower. All the way down to drying, curing and onto the next grow.

I will also be giving feedback on my order from attitude and HTG, once they are arrived and in working order. So far attitude has done the right thing, they gave me 5 free seeds of various autoflower strains, which will make for a nice early smoke in this grow, and some early harvest pics(A small preview of whats to come).

5 X Soma Seeds Somango (Femenized)
1 X Short Stuff Seeds Blue Himalaya(Femenized)
1 X Short Stuff Seeds Onyx (Femenized)
1 X Short Stuff Seeds Super Cali haze (Femenized).. Supposedly the first autoflower to have great haze characteristics.. looking forward to it
1 X [FONT=Tahoma, sans-serif]Kannabia Seeds Automatica BCN Diesel (Feminized[/FONT])
1 X Dinafem Seeds Blue Hash (Femenized)

I plan on vegging the non-autoflower strains for about 3 weeks, depending on how they perform, maybe a little more, maybe a little less

I have always done FoxFarm, with good results.. however I want to kick it up a notch on this grow

Eventhough, I've found very little good info from people regarding the use of Advanced Nutrients and Soil, and the little I have found, seemed to be from inexperienced users, im going to go for it.

My choice of soil is:

A 60/40 Mix of FoxFarm Oceans Forrest and FoxFarm Light Warrior

I plan on starting the nutrients watering at around 200ppm and slowly taking it up from there. I will advise my nutrient/ppm levels with each update to see how the plants are handling it in soil.

LIGHT SPECS:

I am running two identical light setups to keep everything consistent.

So everything mentioned below, I am running twice

LumaTEK 600W Digital Ballast
EasyCool 6" Reflector
SunMaster 600W HPS Bulb
Growbright 600W MH Conversion Bulb

I will be running VEG at 18/6 and Flower at 12/12

Toolbox:

Nutrients
PH/EC/TDS Meter(Digital by hanna)
Syringes for measuring nutes.. Plus airpump fishtank tubes to connect to them (makes it easier to pull nutes out of bottle)
Spray bottles
Watering cans
Ph UP
Ph Down

damn son you got the hole line of advanced nutrients! how much did that set you back?? 400$-500$... have you used it before and what is your opinion? does it just blow everything else out of the water or what?

Never used it before.. Ive always used foxfarm.. But it set me back around $600 for the entire line

I know its probably a waste, but Ill do it once if the results are exceptional ill do it again

Cant know unless you try cause theirs always the skeptics who say it doesnt work then theres those who swear by it

I will give a true opinion my self, wheter it helps or wheter it helps enough that it was worth it

But the truth is its really touch to pinpoint wheter it does or not due to the ammt of attributes that can make grows good or bad no two are the same

So if it works out great maybe illd o it again

Still waiting on seeds hopfully I get em sooner than later

yeah ive been thinking on what i am gonna do this winter in my room....yeah let me know how Advanced Nutrients work out! i was thinking of doing a little experiment myself. like set it up so you can do three different lines during the same grow. One line of plants do AN and the other do Botanicare and the other do Fox farms. somthing like that. do all of the same favorite strain that youve grown before and do the experiment on it! that would be a good way of doing it!! you could always do different soil to....anyways just my two penny's....

UPDATE:

HTGSUPPLY.COM Order arrived today, promptly and safely as usual

Everything was properly packed careful to avoid any damage, and no items are missing, considering my packing list was 3 pages long, thats pretty good that they didnt even miss the small stuff in the order.

They threw in a couple lighters, stickers, can and bottle holders, and a few of the smaller items they gave some extra

they also gave me a 10% discount on the entire order (from online price) which was nice

Everything seems to be in working order, but havent plugged it in yet, will keep every oneposted

On a side note,

The seeds have cleared customs!!! They should be here tomorrow according to tracking, eventhough it doesnt give a guaranteed date

If all goes well, seeds will be into germination tomorrow night and growroom will begin construction!

Yes im pretty confident too for the most part, im just wondering if the extra products in the full line were worth it, such as tarantula, sensizym, bud factor, bud candy and the dozens of others i picked up.. i guess we will see.. i have everything from them

im using htg supplys too. 400watt mh 18/4 an hps 12/12 . but im useing different nuts than any one else so far an i can tell you or show you pictures of my WW female in full bloom its only been 3 weeks! wow!

dude your plants are gunna be so monstrous and strong you could throw them in the amazon rainforest with the steroids aka "fertilizer" ur gunna be givin them.
i wish i had that cash to get the bestest most realest shit for my plants. i carry a couple products from botanicare.. but damn..

Dammit..

I know its my own ignorance, but this grow tent is WAYY tooo big.. Well not wayy too big, but about 6 inches too wide to fit in my space, wall to wall, which is a problem cause i still need to duct out etc and have room to work in this room

Im trying to re-arrange in there to make it fit, if not im gonna have to buy a new one, but im just going to have them overnight me one and pay for it, then send the other one back and have them credit my card in order to expedite it as quickly as possible.. I will see today

on a positive note, all seeds arrived safe and sound

not one is cracked and they are looking good
