Well once again thanks for sharing, ate my first pepper amd it was a bit early but it was HOT and FLAVORFULL! Thai ornamental pepper. The rest of the banana peppers are huge and of course the MJ is looking good as well. I'll get a few pictures up in a bit.

I've started mixing my soil, didnt had all the ingredient yet but i'll start counting a month from the last ingredient i put in and i thought those extra week couldnt hurt for the material to "cook". I can't wait to run my first batch with this.

Like someone said:" it there is a will there's a way"!

Nice I put my old soil in the garden with the grapes, lemons, oranges and plums. They all have great flavor as well. The grapes this year have almost twice as many as last. All purpose mix not just cannabis. And putting the soil in your yard after running an indoor crop will revitalize your yard

I want to apologize to everyone about the water fiasco. I had a couple of off days... Please forgive me.

Speaking of revitalizing your yard. I've been landscaping my front and back yards (first time for any landscaping on this property). When digging a hole to plant a new plant, I screen the native material over a wheel-barrel to remove the rocks. If the material appears to be lacking in top soil, EWC, compost or could use peat or perlite to improve the mixture it goes into the wheel-barrel now along with the modified supersoil amendments. After throughly mixing the soil mixture it goes back in the hole I dug. I plant each new plant (1-5 gallon containers) into the 50-60 gallons of this amended soil. Then I get ready to watch it grow extremely fast, healthy and with tons of brilliantly colored flower. It takes extra time to dig holes of this size (beats going to the gym) and to amend the soil but its worth it for me. I've brought home one gallon plants from the nursery and planted them using this technique. A month later they already have good size to them and at this point are usually loaded with the most amazing flowers. I'm using this technique for every plant/scrub/flower/tree/bulb/herbs/etc. that I plant in the yard.

Good to see what you guys are doing with the mix too. It gives me more ideas...

Thank you sideways!

If people need any ingredients theirs a company on eBay and the net called kelp 4 less, website kelp4less. Com, they deliver to the UK and based In US, I think deliver worldwide, I just bought 5 things, which weighed 4 pounds in total and cost 52 bucks with shipping, I have azomite for a few batches now, while I was there I got alfalfa, humic, potassium and other bits as it was no extra postage.

They sell everything for supersoil apart from the base soil and EWC, and a whole lot more, just send them a email asking the postage weight limits and then pick and mix....simples.

shipping costs they quoted me

upto 4 pounds weight $19.99
upto 20 pounds weight $64.99

andu can mix and match shit, like half pound of this etc, just email them! They take PayPal too which is handy!

TrichomeBob: That's a good idea.Kelp4less was the guy i planned on buying my last needed ingredients we have a hard time finding in europe. I'm sure lot's of lazy europeans would love to have someone mixing the batch and that woul dmake you a nice way to get your own mix for free.

Thanks for the info, as soon as i get money on my bank account i'll be ordering those last few ingredients. Getting the guano Kalong on theursday and those hoperfully in less than 3 weeks.

Peace!

Thanks for the info TrichomeBob, i'm sure this can end up as a great way to get your own ss for free. Kelp 4 less have great prices, good to know about the shipping fees wich are really honnest and the fact that you can ask for mix. Maybe i'll send them the list the ingredients to see if they can come up with something, otherwise i'll just get a batch of everything but i dont like to keep those products for long period of time.

Getting the guano kalong on thursday. Waiting to get some cash on my bank account to order the last things in kelp 4 less.

Soil + blood/bone/potassium/manure/algae is cooking since friday.

This is gonna be the best thing ever!

Peace!

kelp4less.com is the shiz.... I had a whole order ready to go and I got side tracked but they have a store as well where the prices are a little better... Not their ebay store... but the prices are close but they have a whole lot of stuff that we use on the reg but most of us have a hard time finding...

http://www.kelp4less.com/

I think their prices on alfalfa meal, feather meal, as well as a few other things I felt were on the high side but as we all know you get what you pay for quality-wise....

I may have a go at doing the charge packs, in a month or so I'll have some spare cash, I'm gonna order enough to make up a load of SS.
If this is something people are interested in I may go ahead with it, if noone buys any I haven't really lost anything as I can use the stuff myself over time.

what my idea was to actually order in a said amount of stuff, allocate 30% or so to the side for my own mix, then sell the rest at the price I paid plus expenses, I don't want to make money from it as I'm happy enough with getting free amendments and helping out the community. Can also include supplements like sucanat, etc.

Everything will be sent in individual labelled bags so you know what's there, just tell me how many bags of soil you plan to use and I'll weigh all the bits for the said amount.

Price wise I don't know how much till I've worked it all out, but I reckon it's gonna be in the ball park of around £10 per bag of base soil used, i don't think this is unreasonable and could be less, need to work it outs let me know what u guys think!

I will post worldwide too, though I will double check with countries outside of EU as wanna make sure I'm not sending anything illegal, some countries may have bans on importing things like blood meal etc.
I won't post to US though as TGA do their own charge packs and people can buy them, this is what gave me the idea as I know they only post in the US and theirs a lot of nerds out there outside of the US!

Not to knock anybodies mix (sidewing or sub) but I have tried both and both work in their own way,I have found that buying bagged already amended soil to be quite expensive especially Roots organic @ 22 dollars a bag.....if anybody is interested in making their own mix from scratch check out the https://www.rollitup.org/organics/636057-recycled-organic-living-soil-rols.html.....instead . Instead of re amending already amended bagged soil just amend your own....which is less money, higher quality and virtually the same amount of work as amending bagged soil....and you get 2-3 grows out of the same container and after you get 3 grows out it you just re amend and re use again...

Check out how simple this mix is......you can add more amendments but it is not necessary. And I got this mix from Cann

1/3 sphagnum peat moss 1/3 vermicompost/earth worm castings 1/3 perlite/rice hulls/pumice

Per cubic foot of base: (7.5 gallons = 1 cubic foot)

4-5 cups azomite or rock dust mix (4x glacial, 1x bentonite, 1x powdered oyster shell, 1x basalt dust) AFAIK the glacial and basalt are relatively interchangeable ..just use whatever is local (this goes for just about anything in ROLS...local is often best).

1/2 cup neem meal and/or karanja meal
1/2 cup crab shell meal
1/2 cup kelp meal

Let cook at least 2 weeks but ideally 4-6 weeks is better.Best of wishes to all.....keep it organic peace!
